I wonder how these petitions spread around, if they have actual visibility or depends only on sharing and mouth-to-mouth communication.
Right now, I would prefer a new MM RPG than a HoMM. It's so that they screwed so much with the strategy game, that I really don't think they can do anything better; of course, if it keeps under Ubisoft's loose clutches.
These Nordic guys should just Gamble, buy the thing and get things done by sharing with fans. Forgot the term now, crowdfunding, yes.

IIRC there was such petition for H3 remaster. They did it, sadly screwed it.
I genuinely think MM6-8 deserve to get remastered, but again, it would need to be well done, which I fear Ubisoft won't be able to manage.

Imagine that, and then all things that people like Grey Face have been doing to 'fix' these games would NOT be considered, and would have to be redone in whatever engine the games would be redone, or placed unto. Best if they don't do anything hohohoho.
There was that merged H6-8 fan project. If it ever gets finished, it would be nice. I mean, really finished. There are small issues here and there, of course. That's the most hopeful hope right now for these games.

Yes I've seen that project a while back, it's amazing. Of course I'd dream of a complete remake with all new 2020 graphics, and all the fixes done by the community incorporated and beyond... But yeah, dreaming.
