What would you join the HoMM. If I know how to create a highland, for example. I join WoG/ERA.

Of course, WoG/Era. I wouldn't mind to cooperate with HotA team but to create my own content WoG much more satisfactory. With HotA every bit will have to wait for team leadership approval and versions release.
You forgot to mention VCMI, though. If I was solid in C++ that could be even more appealing.

Depends on your programming skills but I would say with ERM you can create new stuff/content relatively fast. But it takes a while to learn it.

WoG as well as VCMI are too fragile for what I'd like and HotA just simply goes with their very own idea and such (not that I blame them; it's just that I'd like to create my own content). Besides, I did do them a minor favor in the past.

I'm not really familiar with the mods beside HotA tbh. If I were to mod Heroes I'd want to balance out the heroes and completely revamp Conflux. Replace the standard elementals with more interesting elemental creatures. Merfolk, Salamanders, etc. I'd also want to add in Forge, my own version of Catherdral, and a Vori faction. And alternate upgrades.

Best option is make platform like Era but more powerfull and simplest to use. Second is VCMI. WoG is Era so I dont see sense to make something worst. HotA is only to play so cant be a platform. Making completly new platform?! Mayby if it would be something more more better than Era/VCMI.
