It's already a cultural appropriation, it was used by the ancient Romans to determine life or death sentences for slaves in the arena, remember?

This thread should be moved. Then, depending on Moderators choice (Wastelands/Other Side), we could start a discussion on the use of the thumbs themselves, since they evoke one of the darker yet more wildly romanticized aspects of Roman culture, slaves risking their life for public entertainment.

That isn't what cultural appropriation is.
I find it to be a pattern that people strongly opposed to behaviors deemed 'politically incorrect' do not understand them in the first place, because if I had your erroneous interpretation of these things, I would likewise be against changing.
The more interesting question is if it is because of a lack of ability or because of a surplus of pride.
edit: Can we please stop with these posts by the way? I opened this thread for a reason and it wasn't for the same anxious people to show up and complain about the same things.

I was just thinking it is pretty cool to see you smiling after all of that, even if you are spending the days writing generic political toxicity it is all the same because there is no audience to read it in this dead corner of the internet, so generally just thumbs up that you can get some form of amusement in your life and are doing well, that's what it's all about lol
definitely no interest to be anywhere near your country right now though, that does not appeal sorry lol

Not that this is the thread for it, but my "days writing generic political toxicity" is me merely responding logically to the left's insanity. You know, the reason why you won't come to the states? Or are you on the "orange man bad" bandwagon?
