Vital file packing issue

Hello everyone. I am working on my heroes 4 mod and playing with my friends. I have released 25-30 versions minimum. Just realized, the changes i made on Earth Elemental growth NOT implementing. Now i have changed it's cost and i can see cost is changing but still it looks 11 earth elementals per week.

Rest of my growth rates works well but it says 11 earth elementals per week. Just changed growth rate of sprites and i can see my changes working but still Earth Elemental says 11.

What the....

Update: Creature Portal again. My changes on Leprechaun and Satyr are 42 6 but in the game it says 78 and 18.  And just realized, NONE of my changes works on Creature Portal growth rates.

Because creature portal using experience points not number from tables.

to reduce growth from creatures in portal, you must increase their experience value.

THis is also why, as I suspect, AI never recruits from creature portal, since they are only programmed to look at growth and not experience.

You can also change the creature portal to give more or less experience poionts per day. This is in the exe as hex values (that determine daily portal experience-growth)

But it gives false AI calculations unit strenght. All this portal is a big crap.

Well I am assuming that if he wants to nerf elemental growth, elementals will become stronger, so adding XP will not skew AI calculation of force too much.

My own methods worked well. If you cannot decrease growth of the elementals, just nerf them. Thank you guys.

well... not exactly. Since as Baronus says, you nerf them, but AI evaluation may still be based on XP they give. So the AI will still believe elemental armies to be stronger.

But if you nerf XP too, the portal will give more elementals.

My reccomendation if you want less creatures is that you edit either the daily XP of the portal, or make it more expensive to build.

Also take into mind nerfing elementals also nerfs Summoning since it is based on elemental XP as well.

And summonig is calculated by xp too. So it destroy a lot of things. Ballance is most important than failed portal. Unmodable game. Best solution is calculation these value and serching it in exe. It s somethin like xxxx0000. xxxx is xp.

My mod is not a professional mod like my Heroes 5 mod in here. No one ever cared it actually. Anyway. My mod is not even a beta. Me and my friends playing together and they looks happy.

In my mod we are playing on Expert difficulty with Advanced difficulty experience (i have increased xp rewards for monsters) and this is why i have encountered problem like this.
