Is a lesbian transphobic if she does not want to have sex with trans women? Some lesbians say they are increasingly being pressured and coerced into accepting trans women as partners - then shunned and even threatened for speaking out. Several have spoken to the BBC, along with trans women who are concerned about the issue too.

Essentially the situation is that some transgender women are angry with lesbian women not wanting to have sex with them, whether it be that they have a penis or if the penis has already been surgically removed.

i still enjoy the fact that the bs "progressive" snow continually comes back to bite "progressives" in the ass. the latest being, the ufc fight where a mentally ill man who thinks he's a woman, beat and choked an actual woman on live television and defeated her in the ring. the "progressives" have divided themselves from everyone else, and are now in the process of dividing themselves from one another. absolute, unadulterated lunacy.

Relatively speaking, yes. Stupid is as stupid does; and stupid people believe things based upon how they make them feel, not based upon what is accurate.
There were many stupid people in Nazi Germany, who refused to believe the atrocities that were being commit all around them. There are many stupid people in America, who supported the 575 violent domestic terrorist riots (40 killed), but rend their garments over the one conservative riot (0 killed). I couldn't think of another way to phrase it, but this wasn't what I meant to say at all. I was referring to what I could only describe as incels (in this case, the transgenders that are so hellbent on having sex with lesbians) and people who claim are sexually attracted to the same gender - for no reason other than because they exhibit the same characteristics (if you're female you're attracted to femininity) yet completely refuse to date people who exhibit the same characteristics; of course it's a laughing stock. What do you want me to do ? Commend them for a medal of honor or a medal of courage ?
Even so, I wouldn't blame anyone for reaching this conclusion; clown world = clown judgements.

The way I understand it, it's MOSTLY on the basis that they still have a penis.
Anyway, It would seem to me that everyone can date whomever they want (and NOT date whomever they want), and that the flak is coming from small but vocal activist groups.

As they should. You can't force someone to be attracted to you and like you. They are literally not women that lesbians are attracted to. The technology to completely switch the sex of a person is still far away.
