i can't wait to hear feedback from players on these maps. i want to see what ya'll think. nobody besides myself has ever played them, but i'm a novice; even after playing this game off and on since it's release.

I never talked about your maps here before, and instead discussed them somewhere else, but I ought to share my opinion (which other people I talked with share to a good extent): I think they're the most wonderfully crafted HoMM3 maps I've ever seen, at least visually. Really, next-level mapmaking, and the way the decorations blend with each other is just amazing. Great job.
And yes, I would have played them straight away if I had the time, but work, with real-life, side-projects and the holidays coming.... it's quite a lot.

i appreciate the compliments. they've been a work of passion for me over the years.
i'm really hoping to hear how they play out. if anything can be refined, altered, etc, to create a better map. i'm a bit of a perfectionist in this regard; instead of just something visually immersive, i wanted to make the playability immersive for the player, as well. like when you see a great movie, and you entirely forget you're watching a movie at all, until the end credits roll. that's my ultimate goal with my maps(and upcoming campaign).

the link in the first post is not working (no file). downloaded from here http://heroes3wog.net/domination-and-the-dark-alliance-two-new-amazing-maps-from-fred/. Why is the commander disabled in the settings on the screenshots, but in the video - he is in battle.
And the main problem: the game crashes at the end of the day 1m2w7d? What to do?

i updated the op. the issue was most likely in a conflicting mod that wasn't removed accordingly.
goddamn it, i changed the download link because mediafire took too long to download, and now the one i posted isn't active, despite the site claiming files were permanent there.  
i updated the op download link with your link. i hope that is satisfactory for everyone.
