Dispite the fact he may be an arrogant snob, what major faults did he do the last 3-4 years (in comparison to other leaders of biggre nations...)?

Tbh other leaders of bigger nations are not really the best examples to follow...
Mutilating protesters with flashballs and grenades was particularly shocking for a country like France, as well as a big international shame too.

Faced with the risk of a divided majority, the macronie wants to avoid any overflow. Future parliamentarians will have to undertake to "support all of Emmanuel Macron's commitments" and to sit in one of the groups of the presidential majority in the Assembly: MoDem, Horizons or Renaissance (ex-LaREM). And MLP, the anti-immigration, far-right party, wanted to introduce a Referendum similar to what they have in Switzerland. But we had to push fascism and authoritarianism away, because we want democracy. Clearly a success.

There was over a dozen dead in protests many from direct and indirect police action

He also wanted full covid police state including mandatory vaccination for even having a meal in open air, taking the train, restaurant etc...

Actually there is only one dead, indirectly. A women died from heart attack during surgery after being injured by a tear gas grenade.

All the other victims are dead in random accidents caused by protests chaos but not by police actions or any repression ordered by macron.

There isn't much liberty, equality and fraternity in Macron's rule.

But hey he's the "lesser of two evils" or something... Sure.

Raising the retirement age from 62 to 64 is hardly the end of the world. It is among the lowest in Europe. For example in Finland my retirement age is at 67 - with the option to already retire at 64 years with a reduced pension.

It's just bad timing, there was Covid so we got negative growth for almost 2 years, now there is war and food prices skyrocketed then many shops closing because of electricity price. We are being told there is no money left yet we see tons of money used for everything else except our well being.

People in power weren't affected so they don't realize how feels to get repeatedly punched and see no end to it. But yes, there is need to reform.

It is going to take much more than that reform to get France's economy back on track. The problem under Macron is mostly democratic. What's going to happen now? Police will knock at the door of garbage collectors and send them to prison if they refuse to work? At the same time criticize authoritative countries for being authoritative.
