Poll Question:
Best Death 1lvl spells

I thought a few times, that we haven't the best and worst spells, skills, artifacts, towns, creatures and heroes, etc I took Phoenix4ever's example, he's legendary and veterean H3 player, esp. HotA. We can say thanks him. Now we collect stats, what's the best and worst in H4. Then talk about it, why, etc Ok first matter why Death 1lvl spells, no 1-5lvl or all spells? I tried the same, but we find many good H4 spells than H3.. So you know 10 names must be filled in poll is a very little, all spells can't to fit a poll, but we get a real theory, analysis and stats than H3.

EDIT

You don't find Summon Imps, because it's Summon Demon spell.

Poison is a very good spell, probably one of the best damage spells in the game. Unfortunately for poison, it's up against cancellation. Crazy good spell in general, and for some reason it's level 1. When buffs last for eternity; cancellation is your friend. On top of that, cancellation instant kills summoned creatures. It's a broken spell. Probably the only reason I don't cast it more often is because the even more broken mass cancellation exists.

Ok I voted Cancellation, when my Death 1lvl spell rankings are

1. Cancellation
2.-3. Poison & Raise Skeletons
4.-5. Curse & Disrupting Ray

Why? I noticed that beginning game hero or Venom spawns need Raise Skeletons against shooters and normal fight/battle/combat I used Cancellation and Poison often against Legion Leprechauns with the help of a Ghost, for example, so I cast Curse and Disrupting Ray to snow finally. What? Legion Leprechauns get a Poison, and then Disrupting Ray, if I've shooters or Vampires to fast kill. Don't get a wrong me! All Death 1lvl spells are good, but what I used more spell tactics are Cancellation, Poison and Raise Skeletons, and then you find my ranking list.

Debate belonged to Disrupting Ray, when we haven't Mass Disrupting Ray. Ok our Haven enemy casts Exorcism, etc So Poison is also useless, when it belonged to fight against neutral or Alliance hasn't Exorcism, etc and Cancellation is 100% sure against their heroes and spells. Later on we can find out in higher Death spells. Now's Death 1lvl, then Best Life 1lvl spells, etc Ok patients..

Just five spells.

Cancellation isn't useful at start, but if you don't get the Mass version you'll want it against stuff like First Strike, Giant Strength, Prayer, Cat Reflexes and so on.

You can use Curse against L2 and L3 creatures if you haven't got anything better.

Disrupting Ray is better than Curse, I think. Pity that you cannot use it multiple times on a stack.

Raise Skeleton is good, no question about it.

Poison misses punch, but it drains. It's a spell you'd use against stacks that will live a couple of rounds, obviously.

Death guild I'd be happy with Raise Skeleton, Disrupting Ray and Cancellation.

It is not mentioned here, but cancellation goes through Grandmaster magic resistance, thus even removing immortality potions.

Yeah I wrote "Cancellation is 100% sure against their heroes and spells", but you clarification, thanks.. Even if we player can see what Cancellation does in game.. and then Cancellation can't remove Summon Demon Spells.. If you've GM skills.. Only info.. So I like Chaos-Nature-Death is OP..

IMO Death has one of the best level 1 magic guilds. All spells are useful, some are even OP like poison or cancellation.

Cancellation can't be resisted and removes ALL buffs, including immortality potions. Useless at the beginning, crasy good at the end.

Poison can clear any number of strong slow guards if combined with fatigue and imp distraction.

All other spells are ALWAYS helpful, unlike other magic schools.
