ArdentWyrm's HoMM8 idea
Oops, sorry, now this is the thread for my HoMM8 idea:
Creaturesred name means melee, blue means ranged.
guardsman>upg.> pikeman: ordinary footsoldiers armed with spears. pikemen ignore 10% of enemy defence.
: archers are just normal tier2 shooters. Crossbowmen have no long range penalty.
swordsman>upg.> swordmaster: swordsmen are the skilled soldiers of the kingdom's army. swordmasters are an elite class of swordsmen and attack twice.
priest>upg.> archbishop: priests are holy followers of the light god Selunas. Archbishops are priest of high rank and have retaliate agaist enemy ranged attacks with their own.
cavalier>upg.> cathar: cavaliers have charge(+5% damage per tile traveled to creature attacked) ability. cathars have a bless and bloodlust aura for friendly units.
crusader>upg.> exalted: crusaders' attacks have a 20% chance to cast disrupting ray. exalted do 150% damage against all Hell units and cast mass bless(spellpower 6) on all allied creatures at the start of combat.
Heroes: Knight (might), cleric(magic).
hellfire orb>upg.> blazefire orb: hellfire orbs appear as angry fire spirits in the shape of a ball, their cousins the blazefire orbs can launch explosive fireballs at their foes.
imp>upg.> hellspawn: imps are small, mischievous
demons. hellspawn drain enemy mana and are 20% resistant to fire magic.
succubus/incubus>upg.> succubus/incubus deciever: succubi/incubi hurl flaming missiles which damage all creatures adjacent to target. the decievers can cast hypnotize once per combat.
hell hound.upg.> cerberus:
