Compilation of advice from professionals
I am new in this community and as a first topic I would like to collect all kinds of tips and guides to better play HoMM 4 and 5, although I suppose it can also be valid for other titles. I'm not a very good player and I'm still learning to survive in the maps and beat my enemies, but I feel that there are many things that I'm still doing wrong and in general I would like you to leave me tips to improve my game or useful advice to play like a true professional. Welcome aboard Sybille!
Shouldn't you stick to one game at a time?  It would be easier to focus on what to improve, especially as the two games are very different.
That aside, I can only help with H5. I can answer questions here but if you have discord it might be more convenient to join my server. (The link in my signature). It already has some strategies/tips channels and there are regulars that can reliably answer when I'm not around.

Well, if you want to improve at the game, i think the best way is to pick a town/hero that you like playing with and we can give you some useful tips

I just hope you realise that part of the reason I invited to discord was so that we could chat directly. The forum is just slower and I don't check all the time.
