How does Battle of the Sexes work?
Is the Male/Female divide hardcoded, or is there an option somewhere for what heroes each player can recruit in the map editor?

But in "Battle of the Sexes", Kyrre is on the male side.
Furthermore, in Heroes IV Kyrre is a male.

LOL did she have a sex change during history?
According to a quick search on the internet, Kyrre is a male name, but that tells us nothing, cause Marius for example is also a male name and she is definitely female.

Aha! When gender matter, I forgot which one, maybe androgyne, when female but her male-face  So the same matter male and his female-face means androgyne??

Mephala has strong body due to her Armorer, when Mephala gets mad, she Mephala hits you, so Jenova is better, thus rich and Cupid girl will pay your good life..

It makes no sense, why is "she" male in H4 then?
I guess she was always meant to be male.

When HotA got new quest types for guards and Seer's Huts, I was a bit disappointed they didn't add one for "Be X sex", since that is a flag that each hero has and you can change for each map. As it is now, it's literally useless.

Interesting. So the lesson we can take from the Kyrre problem is that going with the majority is not always the best decision.

Makes you wonder if NWC was going to expand on that idea at one point or literally only implemented the entire thing for the one map.
