Poll Question:
Best level 3 H3C creatures
Yes you can find Best level 1 H3C creatures and Best level 2 H3C creatures, so you know why we are voting the best creature or talking about the best creature. Ok choosing a level 3 creatures aren't an easy due to almost all good, but I would vote a Griffin and Royal Griffin, if topic is RoE, now we know Water Elemental and Ice Elemental are also excellent creature. So I can't vote, but you can.. Welcome!

I actually agree 100% with you Ghost, griffins and water elementals are the best.
I think I will go with griffins due to their excellent growth, speed, ability to fly and unlimited retaliations.

Combat-wise the answer is probably Grand elfs due their ability to tier apart neutral enemies, basically at any point of the game.
Utility-wise the answer should be Dragon flies, as they're among the best 1-stacks in the game. They're pretty stacked units overall.
Something like Cerberuses are actually really good creatures, but it feels they're quite hold down due them being part of Inferno.
Griffins could be pretty good creatures, if the build path on Castle would more favorable for them. Now, you build them after tier 4, and griffin buildings doesn't itself build into anything. This is pretty much the reason why Griffins don't normally see play in competitive games.
Ice elemtentals are aight, but it feels like the water elementals really wanted to evolve into something else. Now we got this quite janky two-hex shooter, that could really use no melee penalty. Their stats are pretty good, but it feels like their closest competition, Evil eyes, are just way more cost efficient.

Griffins vs Elves 1-0, Elves vs Golems 1-0, Golems vs Griffins 1-0.. But depend on tactics, when to teleport Golems, for example, when human player.. Thus I can't vote..
I planned the best H3C creature vs neutrals and HotA creatures, but if 1.7.0 is coming, and voters voted too much enough.. When 10 means doesn't fit all creatures, ok

Grand Elves and Griffons are the only units I really fear late game, but Grand Elves are on another level. They're useful at every stage of the game and if you can protect them they can take down dragons.
Even though I said I fear Griffons more, I'm putting Serpent flies above them. They're unreasonably durable, and super fast, plus have swamp as native terrain so they can get you basically anywhere faster than anyone else.
Elves #1 though.

Depend on Wisdom, Power and hero, when Implosion matter, think about 5500 damage, for example, so Flies vs Griffins 1-0.. Then therefore their lvl3 Mage Guild.. Maybe Golems beat the Flies..

Nice your Force Field, but Golems, so you cast a Implosion, Armaggedon, but depend on handbook and tactics.. I can't vote, thus human player casts Anti-magic, for example..

Griffins because growth.
Elves are very easy to eliminate. Stats are humoristic.
Golems has only HP. Other functions are useles.
Other strong units cereberus and eye.
But Griffin is uniwersal. Attack and defense. Flying. Good speed.

99% of fights are against the environment or scouts and you get to chose what you bring to the battle. So just don't bring them to those few fights that threaten them.

I actually thought Dragon flies. The only unit that can reach opposing ranged units right away to either block them or attack them, weakness is useful early game and despell remains good throughout

Dragon Flies are often better then Archangels to find on Refugee Camps. Best scout and cheapest baiting unit in the game.
I wouldn't rank them higher then Grand Elves day 2, tough. It's a strategic unit but it's one of a kind.

Tight one between Grand Elves and Dragon Flies, but the latter get my vote for logistical reasons, as well as their abilities, just as the others said. They're also much harder to kill than the first, and can block shooters. But I don't really believe there is a real winner here.
