Sylvia gets better Att and Def.. A good secondary skills than Witch.. Navigation with Water skill, so heroes.thelazy said Castle Knight gets 4 value for Fortress Witch in 3 value.. But Witch gets Power and Knowledge also we notice Voy has Slow spell in her handbook, if Castle hasn't a Slow.. Think about Island map.. So Water Well is rare, and spell point pays a lot.. So play fast!

And you've only Slow.. Maybe Sylvia gets Cure, Summon Boat, Haste, Slow, etc.. When spells are very important! A good idea, Heymlich! A new question: which better Jeddite or Alamar?

Alamar is able to quickly give Rescurection to your main hero through his Scholar skill so I think he outclasses Jeddite unless you plan on making Jeddite your main?

Ok we know from our experience that Jeddite gets Scouting or Sorcery, because his only one Wisdom, but Jeddite chooses Sorcery because Dragogeddon, and then if no Armageddon in the Dungeon means Inferno.. Depend on HoMM skill distributor/giver.. Maybe the most players are confused that the best Alamar due to his soundless world learner Ghost can't get it a between an, but Alamar must go to only expert Scholar, don't try advanced Wisdom or Scholar is always be basic level, if Alamar wants to teach Resurrection to learners.. Ok Alamar got little experiences to reach Expert Scholar, why not many main heroes? Outdated or wrong ideas say only one main hero.. And maybe your area offers a lot of experience.. You can say thanks to Alamar..
I got an idea from Heymlich and his Voy wanted to sea possibly fast.. But Phoenix4ever votes Jeddite.. Does anyone agree with Jeddite?

Ehm no, I voted Elmore, he is a Navigation specialist in HotA and starts with Advanced Navigation, he is much better than Voy or Sylvia.
Between Alamar and Jeddite we already have "the correct answer" it depends if you want to learn Resurrection to your main hero through Scholar (Alamar) or you want to main a guy that already knows Resurrection. (Jeddite)

Ok clear-headed! Now we can talk about Jeddite or Alamar also Navigation matter, if you want.. Free! But I've a question might be different: Force Field or Resurrection? When banned spells, but bonus asks you: Force Field or Resurrection.. I choose/vote a Force Field.. If the map has big/large monsters, and I've Archangels.. Later on I get a Resurrection from Alamar.. If no noticed about the hero with spells..

In almost all situations resurrection is better. Unless there is something like a quest objective guarded by a legion of crystal dragons. Then you would need force field.
I don't play such maps, though. So I choose resurrection.

Then you can't get a Force Field, thus disabled.. Ok we think again, one legendary Chinese mapmaker offered Teleport or Prayer.. It found different timespan/tense, I don't talk about grammar but game time.. Both spells are useful, what do you choose?

Ok I got an idea or question, Wisdom or Earth? It after you can't get a Wisdom or Earth, when you've already 7 skills or no may not succeed in Wisdom or Earth after.. So which one you pick?

That shouldn't happen, since you can make sure you get both for the most popular hero classes.
But let's assume you picked Mullich as your main, which is not a bad choice at all, and you got unlucky. Then, at this point you should have 2 or even 3 magic schools, depending on your choice at level 16, and air will definitely be among them. Then it makes sense to pick wisdom.

I think the choice by default would be Earth magic. After all, there are ways you can get around Wisdom (tomes, scrolls, the blue hat), and at that point of the game the player could probably even found one of such item. Earth on the hand cannot really be compensated.

I was going to make a new topic to ask some stupid question but figured, I can as well use this one
I attacked an AI hero and for some reason I couldn't cast blind on him. He had Recounter but no pendant or orb. Is this an effect of the badge of courage (he had that too)?
