The Reckoning

Hello HC,


I tried to do a lot of research to find out where exactly does the fight between Gelu and Kilgor take place.

As far as I know, the only source is the HoMM 4 video where it shows how they clashed.

The land looks somewhat barren, something like in Krewlod. Could Gelu have taken the fight to the borders between Krewlod and Erathia?

The wiki page shows 'unknown location'

I went with somewhere northwest of Steadwick in Erathia. I have Kilgor moving into Erathia to conquer it after destroying the Mudlanders, and Gelu pushing through western Deyja to somewhat avoid the Necromancers on his way to take the fight to Kilgor.

Probably. Kija returned with Sword of Frost to Kilgor, Gelu rushed to take it back. It's logical, that Kilgor wanted to wait for Gelu's army close to his homeland.
