Now the wiki is surely wrong on Mighty Gorgon

Death stare has always killed only the top unit only. In the wiki link it seems to say it kills one per 10 MG. So what is the truth

There is a chance to kill for every Mighty Gorgon in a stack, thus more than one creature could die.

No, AlexSpl is right. Death stare can kill more than one unit. If you don't believe us, just try it out yourself by creating a small test fight in the editor.

Google translated FizMiG about Mighty Gorgons (so that you know how cool it is)

Quote:
Sometimes it is advantageous to divide the gorgons into several squads. For example, 2 gorgons have 19%
Chance to kill 1 creature with a Death Glare. If you divide them into 2 groups of 1 gorgon each, then
In summary, they still have a 19% chance of killing 1 creature with Death Glare, but in reality
there is a 1% chance that each of the units will kill 1 creature, and the remaining 18% is the chance that, although
if one of the units kills 1 creature.
Another example: there are 30 Mighty Gorgons (see table for probabilities) in one squad. Let's divide them by 2
squad of 15 gorgons - each squad has a chance to kill 2 creatures with a Death Glare. Suddenly
There is now a 20% (45%*45%=20%) chance of killing 4 enemies with a glance! You didn't have this chance
when all 30 Mighty Gorgons are in the 1st squad. And this despite the fact that the minimal chances have not worsened.
It doesn't matter how exactly the Mighty Gorgons are divided, but obviously there is no need to create large ones
disproportions, say 20:10.
It is worth noting that there is no need to divide the Gorgon squads by the number 10*N+1. Dividing such quantity as
11, 21, 31, 41, etc. makes no sense and is even harmful.
Another disadvantage of dividing the Gorgons: if the resulting units are too small, they are easy to put down even
low-level enemy troops. It must be remembered that in addition to the gaze, the gorgons inflict normal damage, and
it is better if after the blow the entire enemy squad is killed than to hit him with several squads and get
retaliation if he survives.
Conclusion: Don't split Mighty Gorgons until you have at least 32 of them.
With such an amazing feature, the main target of the Mighty Gorgons is level 7 creatures.
Don't even worry about canceling the response with other troops. Mighty gorgons can take quite a beating.
If the enemy has 13 Archangels and you have 48 Mighty Gorgons (by the time the enemy has accumulated 13 Archangels, you
there may well be a larger number) – don’t fall into despair. The Archangels may not know this, but
they are already dead. With their first attack, the Mighty Gorgons will most likely kill 4 Archangels. Strike back
Archangels will not kill more than 9 gorgons. After two subsequent attacks, there will be 2 or 3 Archangels left and 15-
20 gorgons. You must keep in mind that your hero’s parameters such as Defense and/or Armor skill are VERY
greatly shift the advantage towards the gorgons. It makes sense to attack creatures of level 6 and below, only
if there are no stronger ones. Don't waste gorgons attacking weak creatures.
The only annoyance is the fact that Death Glare does not affect creatures
Necropolis, Mummies, elementals, gargoyles and golems. Therefore, in the confrontation with Necropolis, the Tower
or Conjugation, you can't rely on the Mighty Gorgons as much.

You can download 597 pages of true knowledge of FizMiG there. It's completely worth translating into your native language
