It is a bit early to make an educated guess either for or against though. We don't have a picture of how EA will play out and there will be an extra year following that. Bugs or balance are fixable, what will matter is game stability (H5 never got rid of its memory leak), starting content (H6 felt lacking until the addon) and a strong base to build upon. Namely, game mechanics, magic system, skill system, town building, feel of exploration etc. If any of those is not FUN, nothing short of a redesign would fix it. H5 also was lacking in a lot of ways until tribes but its core game was fun. So it had the chance to improve.
