Funny, I had noticed the resemblance but forgot since 
Evan Call is such an amazing composer, when you see his name you just know it's going to be good. I forgot he also worked on Violet Evergarden. Such good stuff.
And by the way, thank you a lot for your compilation of song influences LordCameron!

Oh wow, do I feel ashamed now, it's a bit like someone asking :
"hey guys, did you know that a cross can be used as a religious symbol ?! "
But thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction !
(I really should have searched the forums better...)
Still, it's quite interesting, isn't it ? The Dies Irae bit is typically used as an unnerving one, to symbolize death.
(Which makes even more sense why the HoMM5's Necropolis uses a variation of Haven, in particular considering what happens in the story of the campaign for these two.)
But in Frieren... it's about nothing like that, it's an heroic moment !! (How come ?!?)
(I guess that's what has put me off of Dies Irae's trail...
well this time around - I have less excuses about when I played the game before !)
