Have you accepted and enjoyed the HoMM rules?
Not me, I have a secret aversion towards Eagle Eye etc.. I'm not using a Eagle Eye, skill for adventure.. When player accepted and enjoyed the HoMM games mean stronger than me.. How do I know? For example, in a chess club has in a noob group, and then highest level master group.. Ok noob club, you play some unorthodox openings, for example.. Noob says wrong game, but master group plays unorthodox openings without problem or strong newbie players on the tournament, so strong and old players test their skills in unorthodox opening.. It also means strong player doesn't give an easy game to newbie.. Wrong! Yes strong player likes such games..  Don't think so testings, because of risky.. Ok when think about proposal says game rules to master, fool noob.. Thus HoMM has some proposals, not allow to summon boat and using a Water skill, for example.. But strong accepts and enjoys the game  Ok I don't vote, but I'm not..

A lot of them can be modded. Personally now I play hard modded Heroes only. Its no sence playing basic version in 2025.

I'm playing WoG/ERA and HotA, baronus! I can't pick a Eagle Eye.. But if I make a map, I give to others, an example of the Intellect World (HotA), disabled Eagle Eye, but players can buy a Sanya, Serena, etc Thanks for present at difficulty level in events, Pandora's boxes, etc So why not heroes.. Thus I got an idea.. So causal players can enjoy the game.. And I can't get a Eagle Eye  *meme*
