I vote Cove because I always loved pirate/sea theme factions and this one I feel blends in with the original towns quite well.
I wasn't crazy about Factory at first but I am starting to like it too.
I have to play more as Bulwark to get used to them.

I cannot vote cause I can not login, it only allows me to comment for some reason, but it is Factory cause it is the only concept they did not butcher in my eyes (I have Opinions, not being a hater ^^')

Hmm Factory does'nt seem that popular, I wonder if it's because it's so damn expensive or because it's weird it has 2 level 7 units or because of the nature VS mech branch.
Personally I like Factory maybe the most of the 3, it is very fun to play, but it does require A LOT of resources.
Of course Cove is a more straight forward and offensive faction and Sea Dogs are insane and their other units are not bad either.
Or maybe people are just more familiar with Cove.
I like the theme and music of Bulwark, but their units are very slow and defensive, at least until they get some runes going.

Personally, I like Factory (and Bulwark) quite a bit, it's just that while all are pretty good Cove edges out the others - my personal ranking goes Cove, Factory, Bulwark, mostly based on how I vibe with them as parts of the setting.

Cove feels the most polished in terms of fitting into the rest of the game.
I think Cove has the best theme song and art
Factory has best building powers and lore
Bulwark has best unit powers and a mammoth

Cove, hands down.
I was finding Factory too defensive, now imagine this one. Plus, the level 1 creature only has 3 of speed and I don't remember to see anything resembling Snow Dragonflies, so it will be a slow town too. Not me playing for that faction for sure.

Of the three, Cove is my favourite, although both Bulwark and Factory are within my top 5 overall. The Crew has done such a good job of making the towns have distinct and fun playstyles.

Cove is like a vanilia faction, so my vote goes for them.
Factory has an amazing campaign story but the town feels bit overcomplicated with so many weird special abilities for its units.
Bulwark is fresh and really well designed in terms of the mechanics. But the townscreen is just good, and not amazing, and there is no campaign right now.

Voted Factory. I like that its line up adds more variety to the game. There was only one ranged tier 1 and tier 6 troops before, and halflings don’t require an upgrade making them unique.
I still need to play with Bulwark more, but I kind of don’t like how many units share similarities to Cove. Both have a ranged tier 3 with low amount of shots and no melee penalty…ranged tier 5 with debuff attack…slow defensive melee tier 6 unit.

Yeah! About that... I even thought of making a pool about it but it's time for the poor gremlins to get some tone up, eight shoots and you have to upgrade the unit? Ok, that they come in the thirties with a new hero but so what? They should at least came upgraded.
One doesn't easily get how overpowered Halflings are until you imagine this scenario: you started with your "normal" hero in your "normal" town and on the right side of tavern there is a level 1 creature specialist, Cassiopeia, Shakti or Henrietta... Do you see the problem here?

Had to think a bit before I answer this one.
First: I like all of them. Heroes are decent with new accents, new skill combinations and nice backgrounds (yes I really read and like the biographies). As a child I loved playing Might and Magic 6, 7 and 8 and I played them many times: I love the way the new factions are placed in this cosmos.
The mechanic branch in Factory was initially a problem for me - because it contradicts my understanding of fantasy. But it is part of the MM-games too. And yeah, I accepted this branch as I accepted the gunpowder in Cove. A danger in introducing more factions is that units feel a bit repetitive: this is managed well, I think. A problem is that units have new own skills - and with that fights are not only getting harder but sometimes frustrating. Fights against neutral Crimson Couatls, Jotunn Warlords and Automatons are sometimes terrible. The Crimson Couatl-Skill to get invulnerable is interesting but it feels wrong. Against 7 stacks of Jotunn Warlords AI sometimes forgets to fight.
The special buildings are good ones: Fair and bank are worth building in every side town. Both I think are too cheap. I think to balance the factions some of the old ones like Stronghold and Fortress should get some new special buildings.

Yeah Gunslinger and Bounty Hunter are similar to H4.. When they will shoot your ranged attacker.. So what is h4 strategy to ranged attackers? Use spells e.g. Implosion and infantry or flying troops attack to them.. Thus low defense and HP.. I like one ERA script gives first strike to Gnolls.. It means you use spells or ranged attackers.. If HotA crew does everything abilities same as H4.. I stand in H3.. Impossible! Think about your Archangels with your high PS to against neutral Archdevils.. You kill straight to zero.. But if concurrent, so your Archangels get damage and dead count.. And then you need to resurrect your Archangels.. Not cheap! Only PROs, you are liar that you don't like H4, not true, you really can't play H4..
I like Bulwark, but I saw lvl 7 will die same as Skeletons and/or Liches, thus you kill first them.. I'm not surrenders..
Rank:
1. Bulwark
2. Cove
3. Factory
I don't voted yet.. If my mind is changing..
