Terraforming Projects

Flood the California valley into a Great Lake (like it was until very recently in Earth's history).

Canal through Nicaragua.

Canal through southern Thailland.

Bridge to Sicily.

Bridge to Sri Lanka.

Canal through Florida.

Canal from Black Sea to the Caspian Sea.

Flood the southern Australian outback.

Canal to Lake Victoria.

Transform South America into a protected park. All of it. Relocate the population to Australia or Africa with a lottery system.

Tunnel from Spain to Morocco.

Tunnel from Finland to Estonia.

Tunnel from Djbouti to Yemen.

Bridge from UAE to Iran.

Bridge from Long Island to Connecticut.

Tunnel from Scotland to N. Ireland.

Tunnel from southern Delaware to New Jersey and it is ABSOLUTELY STUPID that this one has not already been done. Get off of your ASS and get it done. It would be a straight shot up the coast to NYC to promote tourism and redirect some traffic from DC and Philly. Degenerate morons. If the lifelong residents dont like it then they should have been born somewhere else.

Tunnel from Key West to Havana.

Tunnel from Maine to Nova Scotia.

Tunnel from Sumatra to Jakarta. Get off of your ass Indonesia. Why are you on so many islands anyway? Are you hiding something? I know being colonized by the Dutch We-Have-Zero-Talent Empire was embarrassing, but you gotta move on.

Canal from Mediterreanan to the Dead Sea. This isnt as retarded as it sounds. Bringing in a large supply of water with much lower salinity will make it habitable for fish. It will pay for itself within a few years and then? Profit. It doesnt even need to be a big canal, which will drastically reduce the cost.

The US is the strongest superpower in the history of Earth. The Mississippi River Drainage Basin = peak overpowered geography.

Relative to size, France has the most impressive military history. The arrogance is just misunderstood because it isnt arrogant to think youre better than other people if its true lol.

Anybody who gets colonized by the Dutch should feel embarrassed. That being said, I would 100% retire in Indonesia if all of my family suddenly dropped over dead. Indonesia is a future juggernaut. Also, the language is easy AF and I could buy a houseboat and go fishing for mantis shrimp in my back yard.

As I'm meanwhile used to, that's just plain nonsense:
The term has been around for about 80 years only. It made the most sense during the time of USSR's collapse, when the USA seemd to be the sole survivor after the decline of the British empire in the decolonisation phase. The fondation of that status wasn't and was never ACTUAL military power (as opposed to theoretical MP), but a combination of a couple of things, not the least of which was the Dollar being world currency combined with the threat potential of the US military, nuclear and financial power.
Since then the terminology has declined the same way as the US themselves, and there is no consensus even about the meaning of the term anymore or who a superpower is and who's not. The one thing that makes the US a, let's say, dominant power is the world-currency thing, otherwise China is it because of a lot of reasons. Trump, however, does everything in his power to undermine even that.
Technically you might say that the US WERE the strongest superpower the world has ever seen, but that's not saying much.

Quote:

That's also a very strange thing to say. What is so impressive about France's military history? Napoleon? That's the same story as Hitler. Balloon blown up, the collapsed.
No, the honor has to go either to the Mongol Empire (due to sheer size of conquest) or to Rome due to a combination of size and longevity.

France spent almost 1000 years being the New York Strip steak of Europe after the western Roman Empire disintegrated (New York Strip is the best cut of steak). It eventually came out 2nd place to Britain, but not without a long run of success. There is a reason some variation of "France" is also a common boy or girl name in multiple languages; because it was where cool people lived and where cool people traveled and did business. It was the birth of the first strong and stable monarchy and much later it was also the birth of the first modern republic.

Napoleon was actually an example of sucking, since he couldnt make himself stop, although it did not end remotely as badly as with Germany. Bismarck did expansion much better because he acquired sensible territory (with pre-existing claims) and then quickly switched to diplomacy afterwards. i.e. He knew when to stop, which Boney clearly did not. Bismarck even opposed overseas colonialism (because he foresaw it eventually falling apart due to rising literacy and national identities) although he was pressured to cave on it.

Overall, France is the #1 historic empire, also with countless military successes.

As for the USA: zero other countries now or historically come anywhere close to its level of influence across the globe. We might be somewhat on the retarded side from to time, but we can tap into our retardation as a source of inner strength, endurance, and tranquility. We have overpowered geographic advantages and our population exploded in the 1800s and 1900s. So yeah, in the final analysis, Team Dumbass wins by a mile (not a kilometer).

Nah. That's just a foolish, unfounded claim.
And by the way, the country (and the boys) are named by the people of the Franks who used to live there, once upon a time. Note, that what is France today, was called GALLIA in Roman times (not Frankia, and different than, say, Hispania or Germania).
And the US of A are in decline for some time now. They are the school bully at this point and make China look really great. Everything positive associated with that country is rapidly dissolving.

The name maintained popularity because for a very long time, the French and French culture were intuitively understood to be superior to the Spanish, the English, the Germans, obviously the Dutch, etc.

It went somewhat south when Boney declared war on Earth and sold the Louisiana territory to the future galactic superpower, but it was still the second most influential country in the world for another 100 years after that. It is still the case today that the heart of the EU orbits around France. Nobody in the EU does anything without getting France's permission first.

I really dont see why you need to talk to him like that. Actually, DJT has never commented on a tunnel between Finand and Estonia.

It is a perfectly legit, albeit expensive, investment. Europe is phobic of airplanes and the only land route is through Russia, so yeah, seems like a good idea to me.

*sigh* The next BS claim. "Europe is phobic of airplanes."
AI says, over Europe are 25.000 -30.000 planes in the air. Daily. I wouldn't call that phobic of airplanes. What Europe has are night flying restriction in some cities (but clearly not enough) which is a good thing for everyone living near an airport or within an air corridor.

You knwo, this kind of bull is really pissing me off currently, since it gets worse and worse overall and everywhere. Everyone and their dog are claiming nonsensical stuff, riling up people with it and fanning dissatisfaction. While I suppose that you are just taking the piss a little bit, having a little fun with some innocent trolling, at this point in the history of our common homeworld this seems to the biggest problem: we live in a post-truth world, where people are "following" "influenecers" on social media, and those people believe everything these influencers tell them (not that this were the only problem).

The future of air travel are AI drones fueling planes mid flight and planes being made out of a single wing design for extremely efficient cruising and landing.

USA already has an extremely large and developed airport system for this to be used without ripping apart thousands upon hundreds of thousands of square miles of earth to lay a network of railways.

Early on Europe needed a rail system because of more concentrated population centers, but also because petroleum was so expensive. That could have largely been solved with more modern drilling techniques, but you refused to invest. Lots and lots of oil reserves right in Europe to be tapped into.

And, I mean, wtf. You were still buying from Russia, which basically meant you were okay with it as long as all the drilling was being done somewhere else. Nobody in their right mind should consider Russia or even the ME as a stable supplier.

There is still plenty more untapped oil that could be extracted. Governments made a conscious choice not to do it, because guess what: the EU doesn't care about its own population. Kind of reminds me of somebody.

What Europe (and the world) needs is a Europe that is more willing to act like America. That will quickly put Putin in his place and set you up to be strong in the future. And I mean STRONG. Moonbases and 4th/5th generation airforce and navy. Nobody will mess with you.

That is true. The EU needs to be like the USSR, and by that I mean dissolved.

The best that the EU has come up with in the last six years or so was covid police state and then pointless involvement in a conflict between two non-EU countries. What if some people don't want any of that? They just get called names like conspiracy nuts, anti-vaxxers, Russian agents, or worse, they get banned from the presidential election, as it happened in 2024 in my country.

If you think that's cool, okay. But I'm quite fed up.

Before 2020 I used to think that maybe the politicians don't love us, but at least they care about our well-being and opinion a little. Now I know I was wrong. They don't care at all.

Just my opinion.

If your country doesn't like the EU - you are free to go. No need to dissolve the EU.

Ah, bummer, but then you don't get the billions of Euros out of the EU coffers anymore. AI says Romania gets a record 12 billion € this year - roughly 3% of its entire GDP. Hmmm ...

No one is "free to go", just look at how long it took for the British to get out.

And those billions you mention certainly don't go to helping the common people in Romania improve their lives. I think you knew that too.

But nice try from you to provoke me. At least this time you didn't say "Go to Russia".

The EU as a concept would be great, but when it was first getting started there was still the iron curtain, which means its policy is HEAVILY oriented towards northwestern European post WW2 values and ideology, and then various other states started joining later.

I am not joking when I say we need a more American EU. It is holding itself back way too much. It needs energy independence, it needs reliable energy, it needs military POWER, and it needs less constrictions for how to live. The social safety net is great; well done and good work.

Over 50k deaths in Europe each year from heat illness. Total insanity. You go to "developed" cities and people are just sweating like baboons in a boiler room. Meanwhile, brown coal is being burnt IN LIVINGROOMS throughout central and northern Asia. NEWS FLASH: climate ain't getting cooler in the near future. It will be balmy.

I mean, come on. Adopt a pro-human stance and get the climate under control INSIDE first, maybe? Duh. ACs for everyone.
