Yeah, I thought about the GDR factor but then again I thought that applies to the whole communist block, not just Germany. Also, I remember a socialist friend of mine telling me that ex-communist countries have the higher house owner rate in Europe, not lower but I havent verified that through any source.

Heartbreaking video of some images of what's happening in France. A woman trying to make people not to assault her store. Her countenance, just before someone held her hand to try and pull her to safety, was so impactful. You could see, maybe in a fraction of second, sadness, despair, then impotency before the inevitability. Then, all those merged together. She seemed teetering between crying and shutting down, undecided herself. A single person conveying a whole world of hurt. Then, you multiply that all over.
Meanwhile, where Lula was supposed to be winning, we have right-winged, peaceful manifestations. They're praying. A bit different from pro-Lula's manifestations ... By the way, one of those women making that report is a former judge who had to seek political asylum in the USA because she was being targeted by our corrupt Supreme Court.
A motorcycle parade happened here, yesterday morning, very beautiful. Today, it'll be in São Paulo, in a few minutes in fact, it'll start, right where those ruffians had deprecated São Paulo.
And yesterday night, another scandal exploded on Lula's lap, I've lost count how many just in this term. I think, after tonight's debate, he'll be finished for good. Let's see if the mainstream media will show facts right this time.
