Please update security here - we can hold a raffle!!!
Every time I post or log in I get warning for HC easy to hack. Is Val around? Anyone got his number? We can make a raffle to help pay for the upgrade

Yes, Pol (Celestial Heavens Admin) had mentioned that, when I asked him if HC had been shut down. I wasn't aware of the httpS which was simply not allowing HC to be found. It's been a little while since I asked Val to reset my account, but he hasn't replied yet, and I ended up remembering my password, so it's not something I'll require anymore. But yes, this forum requires an update, long overdue, if you ask me. Not everyone uses Discord. For it, it feels off, and we have a lot of limitations for now, with some government censorship applied over it weeks ago.

Val is the god of this world (creator and builder), I know he used to have to pay to keep it online so someone must still be paying that bill. I’m grateful, sad to imagine a world without HC and the green screen (Val created the IM before the messenger programs people use now !!!). All gods need to rest I guess 🤷‍♀️

The ads are still running and once in a long while, Val will pop in to fix something with the servers.
I have vowed to be here till the end. Let's who outlives who: me or HC.

I actually brought up HTTPS and a few other security improvements with Val back in August 2025, when HC was under attack. He said he'd consider them, though I haven't heard anything further on that front.
To be fair, he did implement some measures to keep the server alive, so credit where it's due.
As for HC itself, I'm beginning to suspect it's no longer running on PHP, but on sheer stubbornness, nostalgia and some ancient necromantic ritual. At this point, upgrading the security might accidentally kill whatever is keeping the corpse animated.
On a brighter note, Kooka has been doing a splendid job of spamming the place back to life. Good to see some HC traditions haven't died with the rest of the population!

Hm, it looks like those people who smoke their entire lives and still manage to live up to 100 years, whilst the fit person exercising themselves die of a heart attack at their 40s. If you made that person stop smoking, they could have died sooner. Although, I prefer hoping to get that old without smoking whatsoever.

Val was around in 2025 so that's reassuring. I'm happy to help with the fundraising if that's an issue. Definitely don't want to accidentally switch off it's life support system though!
