Wow!! That's really great! I recently changed my mind about it...but now as I see it I changed it again...thanks a lot!
EDIT: Elric, how did you made that avatar? And you used Photoshop? Give me a walkthrough for making those...

...I could be wrong, but in such a situation, I think the pen would be a likely choice. After you have the outline, blur it a bit and then fix the levels. After that, I would begin to add the texture, and change the colors with some blending and overlays I suppose.
...either that or take out something made of professional quality, punch out the part you don't want, and stick what you do back in

Simple, make the 3 pics all the same size take them into a gif program and create a loop.

...oh that one? If you have Photoshop 6.0 or up, it comes with Image Ready. What I would do is simply make the image in Photoshop in one image and place your different frames in layers. Try to take the largest image size if you can blow up the others without much quality reduction, and then touch those up. However, if you don't care then simply use the smallest, and adjust the others. Once your done touching it up and all, just import it into Image Ready. Fir the first frame, inhide all layers, except the one you want to be shown first. Then, the second for the second and so on. THere are many effects you can add, through different methods, but basically at the bottom of each frame preview you can select the time you want it to dwell on one image before changing. Additionally, if you wanted you could tween the frames and create more of a movement, usually if you're focusing on one object and want to give the impression of movement in a scene. However, in this case, you don't need to, or simply use one tween frame if you wish.

Well I like the hmm4 style best then "SQUARE HMM" style. But there are no doubts, that I will change my existing avatar when hmm5 will be released .
