Will do. I just didn't know if there was some elaborate scheme for dealing with my character or not.

Also, I am hesitant to control what other characters do for fear that I might mess up someone's plan for that person or group.

I guess if you post before I do, you get to decide. That goes for anyone. Whenever I find the time, I'll post, and time is becoming more and more scarce for me.

EDIT: Alright, I hope that it all works out fine for everyone's story. I had to edit my last post in the RP thread because it had a big plot hole in it. I'll let Dunco decide whether he knows my character or not.

There was a map at one time, but it is rather outdated and the sketch of that map may have been deleted. If not, then you can refer to it for hints on how the world may be organized. All I remember from the previous map was that the Tower of the Magi was on a peninsula. Hope that helps.

I was actually curious myself as to the reason we have traveled to the dwarven lands. If it is something that I think Shadowcaster would fit in, then I will have the trio follow close behind while remaining a step behind us and will continue on with you until whatever we have set out to do is done. Is there a reason we traveled here?

Okay, I'll stay with you and just have the trio that is following me straggle behind. Perhaps I'll have Baarta slow them down or escape or something.

Okay I've read through some of The Saga Continues and I have realized that I do not have the willpower nor the time to read through all of that.

Couldn't there be some character database or something that gave like a sentence or two for the seemingly endless number of characters to keep track of? I could read through the Saga Reloaded no problem. Is there anything specific I should know before I take on Reloaded?

Anyway, for now I will create my main character.

Name: RSF (so it's not creative, I don't care )

Race: Dark Elf

Description: He spent a short time of his life as an undead through a curse of unknown origins. The spell suddenly disappeered one day and he returned to his dark elf form, but not before he had mastered the arts of necromancy. This mage-thief has thereafter gone into the study of time magic. His knowledge of time magic has been limited due to his lack of resources. He has mastered what he has learned so far, the basic spells of haste and slow. Unable to find advanced time spells, RSF has turned to illusionary magic. Due to his dark elf roots, he has specialized in studying spells that impair the vision of his opponents, such as darkness spells, fog spells, etc.

Because of his temporary curse that turned him into an undead, he is still on a semi-friendly status with the undead. But this alone was not enough, he has learned enough illusionary magic to disguise himself as a necromancer as well as many other humanoids.

hmmm...

what can be done, again, is each one of us posting some info about the characters we control ...here are my PC and NPCs

"good guys"
Lith Maethor: Sylvan Elf Ranger, Keeper of Nature, range of druidic/ranger powers unknown, also possesses limited vampiric powers... he is my character, last time he was in this dimension/universe he was 1700 years younger, over the years here he has made a few allies and enemies, most important of the latter the Elf called Greenleaf (Calenlass) that thinks Lith betrayed him and the Elves

Morwen Auriel: Sylvan Elf Ranger/Druid, Captain of the Moon Watch, advanced druidic powers, Lith's mate and head of his personal guard, also known as the Huntress, new to this world

Faerion: Sylvan Elf Ranger, member of the Moon Watch, one of the selected few to guard the Keeper of Nature, more or less typical Elf, new to this world but currently under the service of the Queen of Elves

Thorhen: Tawaran (Sylvan Elf/Dryad offspring) Ranger, member of the Moon Watch, same as Faerion with one slight difference, the blood of his mother makes him a bit edgy when not in the wilderness

Shadow Hunters: 20 Sylvan Elves Rangers, each and every one skilled in both the ways of the forest and the art of war, stealthy hunters and killers if need be, new to this world but currently under the service of the Queen of Elves

"bad guys"
The Warlock: half-human half-plasic... err half-gargoyle, Warlock/Necromancer, a key figure in Lith's past, not a native to this world but been around for more than a century

Beastmasters: 50 Orc slavers, in the company of about 30 Worg, escaped from their dimension and are currently on the run from the Shadow Hunters

Fallen Ones: mysterious cult yet to appear, unknown number of members

EDIT: sigh... added more info...

Okay, here are mine:

Shadowcaster (he will soon figure out that this is not his real name, but I won't ruin that surprise ): A shadow mage that was tricked into thinking that he was a genie all his life by way of an illusion, courtesy of Jerome. He is one of the two that the illusion was specially created for, and he is very important to some plot, the details of which he does not yet know. The shadow mage is slowly regaining his memory of the "real world". He has also made many enemies throughout his journey.

Baarta: A sharpshooter who was thought to be an illusionist inside of the illusion. In a twist of irony, Jerome used him to help create an illusion of Loxlia, Shadowcaster's home town, for the denizens of the tower, while he was unwittingly trapped inside a larger illusion himself all along. He is the other link in the important plot along with the shadow mage, and is one of Shadowcaster's closest allies. He, the shadow mage, and a group of illusionists also somehow involved in the plot dissolved the illusion and escaped from Jerome's trap. Or were they let out? (dun dun dun...)

Jerome (originally created by Oldtimer, I believe, but used mostly by me): A powerful warlock that rarely shows himself, Jerome is the source of the now-failed illusion that was meant to hide something from Shadowcaster and Baarta. He had tried to make a deal with Shadowcaster (then ACC, the genie) in an attempt to prevent him from ever escaping the illusion and to get rid of the unnamed old man (Oldtimer), but the genie eventually declined the offer. With Artemus' help, ACC escaped from Jerome's ensuing fit of rage and the warlock hasn't been heard from since. Who knows what he is up to now?

Artemus: ACC's best friend within the illusion, eventually turned evil due to his lust for power after he had been supposedly killed by Matthias. It is now widely believed that he joined Jerome in a search for that power, but, in reality, he is allied with Matthias in a strange twist of fate. Somehow, the mage remained unchanged after the illusion dissolved, and that mystery is yet to be solved by Shadowcaster or Baarta. He and Matthias are currently at large with the sharpshooter in tow as their prisoner.

Matthias: ACC's arch-rival within the illusion, where he was then an efreet, Matthias has always spelled bad news for ACC/Shadowcaster. Before the illusion dissolved, Jerome tipped Matthias off to the whereabouts of a powerful artifact, whose purpose has yet to be discovered, in exchange for the efreet and his legions ensurance of the destruction of Loxlia. Instead, in his arrogance, Matthias kept ACC as a prisoner for just over ten years until he eventually escaped and ran into Baarta. He has only recently resurfaced, now as a pyromancer, as an ally to Artemus. He and the mage now hold Baarta prisoner, and he has Jerome's artifact, a staff, with him. The use of this staff is soon to be revealed.

Hope this helps.

PS: I will be posting in the main thread soon, no later than tomorrow night, and my next post will unravel many of these mysteries spoken of in this post.
