lol
Isn't that rather a silly statement to make here?
I mean, this is the Heroes Community, and some might argue that strategy type games are also not "feminine" but us girls are here aren't we?
I loved Diablo.. but then i had an awful glitch in my game after playing multiplayer, and couldn't bring myself to start over Reading this kinda makes me want to

I was thinking it was perfectly fine for girls to play any computer game, even those that are extremely un-feminine or whatever, the thing is, at least there'll be something in common.

ok ok some stats from bnet
Largest clan ever D2LOD was Horsemen of Chaos
led by
LadyChaos_hc1 and StarofChaos_hc2 both female
The most legendary clan of Amazons was The Sisters of the Rose 5 asian females:
Rose ~Korean
BlackRose ~Japanese
ChinaRose ~Chinese
WhiteRose~ Korean
BabyRose~ Taiwanese
No 1 Female duelers
NightStar
BloodDoll
Sweet_thang
Brittany_Spears
Venemous(zoi)
Kikin_POA
female led clans on bnet
Rainbow_POA and GLory_POA~POA Clan (female only)
Sweety_Kya~KYA Clan
Killyou_TFC~TFC clan
MIINDY ~She Godz
LadyKnight~Angel Knights
these are the ones i can think of of the top of my head then there are at least 20 more female players who come to my site regularly and this does not include the Queens most clans have female members usually one becomes the Queen of the clan with an army to protect them.
There are many aspects to one is to play the game but there is much much more D2 the trading collecting economy on Closed Realm (UNID windforce bows currently sell for $US 200.00 on ebay), The hackers Duelers of Open (nightshiver.com) and the Closed Realm Hardcore players (one life one death)all totally different in purpose and application
My personal observation is the women that do attract to bnet really enjoy it and generally play for a considerable time hey Glory /Rainbow
consider this at this very moment there are 1 million continuous users on Bnet world wide in some 600,000 games approx 30% of those are Diablo Players and a lot of them are women

The thing about diablo as a game is that it ultimately lacks any real objective. The following is a list of possible reasons one could have for playing the game:
1. to make a char that is of the highest level(it goes from 1-99) and be high on the ladder.
2. to make a strong character that will defeat the monsters in the game as efficiently as possible
3. to create a dueling character to kill other characters
4. to create a magic find character to get cool stuff and then become powerful by trading.
5. learn ways to cheat and thwart the plans of others by scamming, schemeing and generally abusing the trust of other players in the game. becoming an irritant to others.
6.build a character that is not necessarily strong by him/herself but is valuable to other memebers in a party.
finally though this game has no real ultimate purpose. players decide what objectives are important and then pursue them accordingly. for some this might be an obsticle impossible to overcome. it does however avoid the issue of winning and losing and the arguments that ensue. i have often wondered if that isnt one of the main reasons this game has remained so massively successful.
