Redesigning Death alignment...

I will redesign Death here which is my favourite. Including Venom Spawn is sick in HOMM 4 and I wanna see Skeleton Archer back! So here is my vision:

Hero Class

Demonic Knight
(Death Knight has no unique skills in HOMM 4 so I wanna see it with unique skill so it's worth recruiting him)
  1) Demonic - Transform into a demon making him better in each lvl. B: hard skin (+def) E: harder shell (+def) M: Claw (+att) GM: Fly (with bat wing. it'll be the only heroes that fly!)
  2) Vampire Skill: Suck hitpoint back like Vampire. B: 25% E: 50% M: 100% GM: 200% (make him hard to kill like Vampire)
  3) Dark Cloat - immune to certain magic. B: 1 & 2 lvl magic E: 3 lvl M: 4 lvl GM: 5 lvl (It's different from magic resistent)

(So by the end, he will bacome one creepy heroes that can cause hovak in battle)

Necromancer
(The same as in HOMM4. Their spells are so good that it's Necromancer I choose from Necropolis)

DarkLord
(Let introduce a new class that's need for managing Death army like Life's Tatic supposing Offence and Defence skill not work against Death)
  1) Hades - Increase the affectiveness of growth of Skeleton in a death town (that larger the skeleton army even further so at the end a death army will have thousands of Skeletons!)
  2) Death Toll - Turn opponent's dead army into gold at the end of each battle. It's like Necromaner skill but instead of Vampire it's gold!
  3) Frighten - Frighten some of opponent army before engaged in battle. This means some of creature are left on adventure map but they can still fight after the first battle is over. It's like Charm but it's only remove creatures for the current battle making enemy weaker with less creature than it normally has.


Ok, enough of hero class here is the creature for death. Most of them I take form HOMM 4 but the point here is it should include Upgrad option for certain creature (not all) as well as choice between creature dewelling.

Creatures

1st Level
1) Skeleton - range absorb, *undead.
(no upgrad or choice here but dewelling for Skeleton had been built with Town. Player has no need to cost for the dewelling. That's one of town speciality)

2nd Level
1) Imp - steal, fly
(Fast. Imp growth twice than othe 2lvl creature but does a quarter damage. This make Imp weak against hand combat but useful for Fallen as you wll see)

2) Zombie - extra strong, undead
(Zombie are very slow but useful for hand combat)

3) Mummy - Curse, resist to magic
(This make Mummy a good choice for spell casters like Acedamy)


3rd Level
1) Ghost - Mist Form (50% less damage from hand and range att but full damage from magic), Fly, undead
- upgrad to -
  Phantom - Mist Form, fly, Invisiblity (get visible after three round or if he make attack.), undead
(This make Phantom th best choice to attack enemy back line where usually is ranger and retialating from them is also absorbed)

2) Hell Hound - (one head hell dog), double strike
- upgrad to -
  Cerberus - double strike, triple attack
(This make Cerberus even better than Berseker but it's slow and impratical to go attack enemy. It's better to wait for enemy attack for Cererus. Good for defending castels)

4th Level
1) Vampire - no retailation, Suck blood, fly, undead

2) Lich Archer - absorb range, range attack undead
(absorbing range in a ranger is a good speciality and the only ranger in Death army)

3) Death Knight - (undead-version of Champian), undead
- upgrad to -
Death Champian - raise Death Champian (like raise skeleton but it raise Death Champian itself)
- upgrad to -
Fallen Angel - Fly, Sacrifice (death 5lvl spell. take one stack of creature and raise another army with double hitpoint)
(building Fallen Angel's dewelling prevent building 5th lvl dewelling cuz Fallen Angle itself is 5th lvl. This make Death to have less creature genetrator but having a creature with 5 lvl spells is no mere thing!)

5th Level
1) Skeleton Dragon - range absorb, Cause Fear (attacker are frighten which make them lose one turn. Only effect to lvl 1, 2, 3) , Fly, *undead
(Bonie has less att than in HOMM 4 but make attacking him with low lvl creature impratical. So Bonie can only be taken out by 4 or 5th lvl creature. Has a good def so send him into enemy army and let them attack him!)

2) Devil - teleport, summon Hell Demon (with Blackie's fire breath but very slow)

3) Fallen Angle - (see above)

(* undead mean they are immune to certain spells but valunarble against holy spells)


Here is also Necorplis' town specialities

Town Speciality

Pro
1) Lava Ring around castle wall so creature standing on it will take damage (built with castel)

2) Death Sphere (building): remove death's weakness to certain holy magic under this sphere.

3) Tunneling (building): make moving troop between Death towns much more faster than Cravan. Also negelate road-blocking by guard creature. Still craven is needed to move between other town type. (it's like Teleportation Gate in Underworld in HOMM 3 but not that powerful)

4) Gravyard already built with the town.

Con
1) Weak gate: make it easy to get into death castel but wall are average like other town

2) No tower: no tower for rangers which mean death has to go out to fight enemy. But it's also pratical cuz death hardly has ranger!


According to these, Death look very strong but what if their alignment are also strong as well. Introducing  powerful speciality make player feel good while opponent will also has that powerful speciality. This balance the game!
