ZONE DONT DETECT MY GAME !!
oki, try this....it worked for me, and is much easier than all that un-install this and re-install that do-dar.
at RUN type in "regedit"
find the folders:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -->
SOFTWARE -->
MICROSOFT -->
DIRECTPLAY -->
APPLICATIONS -->
Heroes of Might and Magic
Change the value of "File" from
"heroes3.icd" into "heroes3.exe"
how easy is that !!
ps. duno if this is avalible somewhere else, but lots of ppl been asking questions on zone just recently. maybe it helps

and..
the best thing about this way is, if u install any other game for zone play, no need to go thro all the un-install procedures and in-stalling zone files again, just use same formula on new game !

I checked it...and it already said heroes3.exe....But I've already runned the reg file found on the ftp from weeflea......maybe that one does the same...

I did that and still it does'nt work ... damn hate zone ... any other way cause i badly want to play heroes...

u need ta make sure u clean out all cookies and old reg files. that might work. u should clean out cookies on regular basis anyways if u on-line alot.
ps. also, what version u have? RoE or SoD or what, cause u need ta change the xx.exe file to match !

try this
I havent read all the suggestions that you got but i saw the first when someone sugested that you should change a file name in regedit to heroes.exe
i had the same problem with zone and heroes 3 but that was because i had changed my heroes folder at one point after i had installed msn zone so i thought that you miht have done that too. in that case i solved it by go in to the same place in regedit as the suggestion befor said but change the folder path in another file there wich shouldnt be to hard to find to the current folder where heroes is located..
maybe its not the right way for you but it might be so good luck
