i'm working on a map based on "The Two Towers" and i could really use an artefact editor. does such a thing exist? if not, any ideas on how it can be done otherwise? thanx.

No such thing. You might download WOG and study ERM though.

You might want to get in touch with KittenAngel. She is working on a LOTR campeign but unfortunately it is for WoG since you can edit artifacts there and she has even made a new one for the campeign.
