Well.. it doesn't work for me 
Even if I decide not to enter cons/bank/dwarfs etc. I still can't see the number of defenders
Update : Ok, it works now.. I just needed to take one step out of bank to see the effects.. And it doesn't work on crypts :-((

you can defeat any crypt with any number of defenders in day 2 or 3

It doesnt works with crypts, derelicted ship or shipwreck.
Do u know when u will face waterelements and when ghosts?

Rampart ?
Uhm.. guys.. I have another silly question ;P
I'm playing rampart in this game. There's lot of resources on the map, and a lot of gold. But NO MINES - except ore and wood. There's no crystal mine too. I have Town Hall built and I'm going for dragons in 2nd week day 7. I have enough money and resources to buy it. There's a dwarven treasury nearby to boost my money and crystal a bit. And.. there's griffin conservatory - near to my castle 
But my question is - there's day 10 in the game. I have about 16.000 cash, elves are upgraded, rest dwelling were built in first week. I'm roaming near my castle and fighting everyone (almost  ) with my grands and cents. Do I need to go for a city hall if I have enough cash and can afford to have city hall and dragon cliffs ? I mean.. ther will be only 2000 per day - and I will not have capitol soon, probably. And if I buy a city hall I may be not able to hire those dragons on week 3. Or maybe I should buy an army for that whole cash (with dragons) and go farther from castle as soon as possible ? And struggle a while without cash - not mention I will not have money (and purpose) to buy Treasury..
Well, noobish question probably, but I'm so excited with this particular game, that I want to ask for an opinion someone neutral - I just really don't want to screw this game :-)
Map is XL / no under - 2 vs 2. I don't see the others - but I know my ally is near me.

Its hard to give smart advices if i don't see the game
Yet if u can manage city hall and castle+drags on week 2, i really don't see the reason why not to do.

Agreed with Zilonite .. make screenshots of teh area and post them so we can gove so more advise!@
Dragons are usually the best deal if u suspect the game wil take long enough for u to actually buy them. If u think your enemies are close bye (use view air/earth spells) then upgrade your units, buy as much as possible and go seek and destroy the enemy (i.o.w. don;t build capitol nor dragons then).

I can't make screenshots, coz it's hot seat game - and the savegame was zipped on 3 different passwords
Hexa --> I don't see my enemies for now, but it doesn't mean we will not fight in a few days or a week ;-) I think I may need those dragons if I'm gonna fight in conservatory - don't want to loose unicorns there.. And as Mephala - I don't have mass slow.. And I need a strong creatures to block shooters in first round..
But on the other hand - my ally is castle (might) - and we're fighting against necro (Thant) and dungeon (Jeditte) - they may have to strong spells for me to act quick against them.. Lighting Bolt may take my precious elves in 2 turns :/

No, we do not
In fact - we enjoy cheating each other. It's not excatly what it seems though.. If we manage to cheat in one way - we tell others about it after the game. And we think together how to prevent this particular cheat.
1. We install SoD and AB together - to make sure no one will mess with .exe file
2. We have keyboard taken away - to make sure no one will Alt-Tab the game and use trainer (and play mp3 of previously recorded battle while messing with game) or smomething AND to make sure no one will load autosave (you must type players names when you do that)
3. We have music and voice usually turn off, BUT in first day it's turned on - to make sure no one will restart scenario (for better heroes etc.) AND will not check others locations and then restart (the sound of beginning new day will betray cheater)
4. We make sure tha no others suspicious programs are running in the background (we even check registry) - sometimes it's just a "pressed key reader" (to find the password for zip file) or more advanced program (they've had such "thing")
5. We cut the comp from net - to prevent sending unzipped savegame to e-mail.
6. We pack savegame 3 times on different passwords - and everyone has a copy of it - to prevent looking at savegame and editing it.
7. After exit from H3 we stay in front of monitor to prevent copying unzipped savegame to another location.
8. We delete and create savegames a few more times - to prevent recovering those original files.
9. We do a lot more things
And no - we are not cheaters. We usually play fair and enjoy this game. It's just another fun - to think of a new ideas how to avoid all protections And use it in practice...
Maybe that's because 3/4 of us study informatics ?

There might be some difficulties, but in this situation it's acceptable And you can do almost everything with the mouse - so we don't need it so badly (except for hitting SPACE while in teleports - but we agreed that it's illegal anyway..)
And one more thing - please don't call me cheater etc. I do it rarely, and only with those 3 bastards When we're playing with others we don't use those cheats.

OK, it may be really interesting to play not only Heroes, but cheating competition, too . Yes, nice, you can do some sacrifices for it.
I only love using keyboard and I'd feel bad without it.
