gimme exp log before exp earth on any other L or XL template, but on extreme that gets u nowhere if u cant bash ur way out

I always wondered how close I could of came also Chubbs if i would of had the gold to buy all my troop,& upgrade my AD vs Rych in that game also.

Couple of other things I find handy...clear you 2nd and 3rd zones to level up. Gonna have heaps of time, so scour them and take everything you can.
Also if you have a level 20 main which is missing a crucial skill, maybe earth or path, take some of those boxes with a secondary hero. For example, if meph showed up in tavern week5, take some boxes with her, and see if you can level her to get earth, then maybe you can change mains, maybe even to a better one

I just love the extreme template!@
Been playing it as of before its release date.
very nice temp...
One thing that I have found to be rather unfair is the difference in dwellings. In my first game on it i had 4 estra roc dwellings and one behomoth dwelling. Bit unfair right? But I think later updates of the map fixed that probelm .. right midnight?

too extreme?
dwellings can make a difference for sure, but so can getting exp slow by end week 2, or getting a town of same alignment in 3rd or 4th zones, or getting gunnar in tavern in first 2 weeks, or getting tp and res early.
so it wont be changed, to change it means that the start zone will only have lame small stacks, which is not suitable for EXTREME style of play.

Na theres more to it then that Hexa, take my ht game with Rych.
I had 3 devil dwellings, 1 pit lord & 1 demon dwelling & I think another.
But problem was all the topes were on his side & I could barelt afford 3 devil dwellings, almost at end I got desperate & headed north to hot over 5-7 dwellings but couldnt find any gold for life of me.
If I would of even found 5000 gold in a pandora I probally wouls of hit the desert 2 weeks ago hehe.
So you see Dwellings dont mean much on extreme because when you hit the desert first thats what really matters & what scares me the most is Doungeon with say 3 Dragon dwelling & the portal hoooweeee lol

hehe Hexa, it was nice of midnight to create that template for me...I wanted a "meeting in muzgob" on steroids. Muzgob had those huge blocks, but always had the 2 players on the same side of that block. Extreme is just an extension of it...albeit a biiig extension. It was a blast testing it too, cries of "bloody hell!" permeated my house
Something else I have noticed, treasure zone can be aligned too, if you get to the point where you can kill the 117 giants for the 2 relics and 2 boxes or whatever it is...and you get 3 archangels from a box, and you are castle, take as much as you can from that particualr desert area. You can be guaranteed more castle creatures will be hiding in those boxes

Comp always think that every zone on random map belongs to some town type. It means, in one zone u will find boxes and dwellings related to that town type.
And what is even more interesting, if there is a town in this zone, then boxes and dwellings are from that town. But if there is no town in that zone (as in the case of Extreme's deserts), comp randomly pick up "home town" for that zone - so u will get boxes and dwellings from that town.
And two things more:
- if there is no town in zone, comp may think that the "hoem town" of the zone is neutral (this idea i try to use in my new template in order to achieve that in most cases in treasury area there are Azure Drag dwelling - so far i managed to get Frozen Cliffs on some 75% of maps).
- in zone with no town comp somehow is tended choose Castle as a "home town" for that zone more often that other town types.

yeah that is why i changed the sand alignments to necro on the new version, is nuts if it was aligned to your town type and u pick up another 20 lvl 7 in week 6 lol
Get the new version, should have an April 03 date on it, rather than the January one.

the new template has been there for ages, they just didnt update the date on the web page. Took a week of nagging to get the templates posted properly, so didnt care about their web page presentation. u know u got the right EXTREME template when it says 7th April 2003 as date when u check template name.

Coming back to playing a dip-game on Extreme: even for a dip-lover like myself: doing 60K damage wif a swarm of AB's on Gundula was kinda lame.
