ways to bring heroes 4 & 3 players together
What we need to figure out is how we can get all players from heroes 4 & 3 to reunite again.
I mean half the players are in heroes 3 & half in 4.
It's up to heroes 5 to reunite us together again, but how can we do it.
I mean as I know Heroes 4 players are tired of the same ole strategies predictability of heroes 3 & heroes 3 players dont like the hugh change facter that heroes 4 brought them.
So how can we make heroes 5 a game for us all to play in one game again?
Mayhaps a way to make the game formatted into both games in one but with more strategies & twists etc.
Mayhaps if some of the players can bring up some ways to make heroes 5 a playable game for both of us players, it might help them with some better ideas?

as long as h5 is a more strategy based game in the homm style and not more of a role playing game, then i think the h3 players will move on2 h5 np.
but if it goes the role playing way, simple fact is, other games do that better !
h4 is sort of in no-mans-land for many people, not strong on either front.

Yea but the problem is how can the game be made so all the players that split up can come back to 1 game.
How can we regress both games into one super hit.
Heroes 4 players are tired of the predictability & the same out comes from the same hero.
The heroes 3 players dont like how much the game changed it's heroes spirit.
The game is totally dif but how can we make it to satisfy every player.
I am sure they will need to keep some of the stuff to make the game work like chaining etc which I know some wont like it.
I know some like to use many dif heroes as an equal but then again specialties were what signatured heroes.
I hope this new game works out, pretty much like our only chance we got of everyone getting back together.

Unity stems from mutual respect. A lot of the comments made by the people who constantly bash HOMM4 are insulting to people like me who love playing the game. It is commonly insinuated that HOMM4 players must be idiots.
First there should be a truce in all the negativity about HOMM4 and look at it impartially. Build upon the good things and improve/amend the other aspects of the game.

i think i have a nice idea how to bring them together
localize all resources. the resources are mined in a mine and stay there until some caravan sort of thing brings them to town. then they stay in that town until some caravan sort of thing takes them to the town where they are needed. same with gold, every town's gold is kept in the treasury of the town. when a town is captured, the enemy also captures the gold and resources (of course the resources still stay in the town).
how this would bring heroes 3 and 4 players together:
1) nwc finds a fantastic way to implement it so that this system is playable. everybody enjoys robbing caravans, looting towns and maybe even stealing from treasuries and mage towers. those who don't like homm5 will be striken dumb and play homm2. those who like homm5 will play homm5. both play and homm2 and homm4 players are at peace with each other.
2) nwc isn't capable of implementing it so that it's playable. this one is more likely because this system has some serious implayability issues. then all homm2 and homm4 players will forget their differences to flame homm5 together. again, there's peace between homm2 and homm4 players.

btw as far as i understand, all this post is useless because i havn't heard that anyone has insinuated that homm5 players are idiots or insulted them or bashed them or even not respected them. how could i have missed it? what are you talking about? maybe it's just you, countzero?

...........Cause of the Bankrupt, I think that the only thing that would bring the Hom3/Homm4 player together is HC it self, cause homm5 will prolly never make it out. I really doubt that any new company will make a 5 as to the last one homm4 was a "flop" so they most likely go with new and fresh games to make a new crowd, it has been proved. They have done this before. Also I really think that might not be all that bad..(If they ues some of the same tactics they used to make Homm3) cause a 2 player strat. is really hard to find...at lest turn based..

oh, there will never be a homm5.. so lets make one ourselves.. would bring the community together for quite a while.

I said HOMM4 not HOMM5.

Let us all agree on one thing, HOMM3 is the best, well balanced more castles than HOMM4, better AI, etc.

oh, and i made a typo, the bold text was meant to be homm4 in the original post. i'm afraid there are probably no homm5 players yet atm, so it would be rather moronic to call them moronic, wouldn't it?
those "critics of homm4" may be partially right about homm4 having this fault and that but i would expect that the reason for calling homm4 players idiots would be because some people might want to show off how tough guys they are or something like that, and you complaining about being harrassed looks like you want to feel victimized or something. sorry, i really havn't seen any homm4 players attacked that way, maybe its just me who hasn't seen that?

in my opinion, homm3 can never be better than homm2, because it has the 'wait' function in battles that might be a reasonable idea, but it's not that easy to do and would require a significant amout of more thinking. the way the 'wait' function works atm feels artificial more often than not. there are many good and bad sides in both games, and in general my personal preference tends to be homm2, but the most significant flaw of homm3 was the 'wait' function imho. i am not surprised if you don't care about the 'wait' function at all or even like it, though.
and.. well.. i am not so nice person today again. ok, whatever. let's talk about homm than what kind of person i am, and maybe you didn't even mean it like that, lol. if there's anything to talk about a new homm game anytime soon..

The best way however is to let all Homm4 player have a copy of Homm3, cuz the fact is that Homm3 was all sold of(still) and they had to settle for 4....j/k

I'm more than willing to concede that it might all be in my head and that there is no animocity against people like me who love playing HOMM4.
This thread is called "ways to bring H4 and 3 players together". Someone then immediately started a thread called "no need to bring H4 and 3 players together". If you want to read that thread then be quick because the moderator is threatening to remove the thread because this forum should not be used to "bad mouth".

Actually everyone has his own opinion and there's no need to show your bad emotions on homm4
I like homm4 more, but i don't think i'm gonna kill all those who prefer homm3 better

that's the only place in that thread where someone talks about killing all those who like the other game, and even this one was said in a doubtful context (to say the least). otherways everybody attacks the game, not the players.
maybe its characteristic to the altar of wishes? i havn't been anywhere else, except when i claimed this avatar so people wouldn't say i should change it because it was theirs first.
