New Heroes4 campaign - 'The Saga of Depierrelles, part I'

I am proud to announce, that after a (really!) long time of designing, creating, testing and translating, my Heroes IV campaign *The Saga of Depierrelles, part I* is finally ready to be shown to the international audience.

This is a 5-map campaign (all map sizes from S to XL are present) that requires Heroes IV with patch 2.0 (or later). If you have TGS or WoW the campaign should also run fine. You can download it from my home page, http://strony.wp.pl/wp/urtur/eng.html - and I hope it will soon be downloadable from other sites. The file size is 712kB, so the download may last a little while.

I think this campaign is really good. All the players that finished the original version and reported this fact to me told me that it is much better than the campaigns included in the game. Since players usually prefer complaining over complementing I hope they didn't lie. ;-) The maps are quite well balanced, the terrains look nice, and the campaign can be played on any difficulty setting (however the 'champion' level is recommended only for superexperts, and the 'easy' setting makes the game a piece of cake). It is just very susceptible to the difficulty level setting.

Of all the tales of ages past, the longest and most interesting is the tale of Depierrelles. The story of this bard, rebel, king, and "Messenger" is truly mysterious. Like the planets that revolve around the Sun, three related stories revolve around  Depierrelles' immortal saga.  There's the story of his parents, Matelles and Aspera, the tale of his brother, Sequedelles, and the songs of his sister, Astra. Depierrelles left this world eons ago, but he will be remembered until the end of time, when all the inhabitants of all our lands, both the living and the dead, will go and meet their Messenger. Here begins the Saga:
It happened twenty years after the end of the War of Stones, eight years after the restoration of the Balmung sword, six years after the fall of Dread King Braaver. During the reign of King Wierchoslaw IV, the last King of the Highland Dynasty, when the ruler of Anilis was Duke Surmiej, the Royal Warlord was Odris, and the High Priest of the Elder Gods was Reverend Selve. At that very time - in the sixteenth year of great Depierrelles, the seventeenth year of his brother Sequedelles, the sixth year of his sister Astra - our story begins ...

Your starting hero is as follows:
Name: Depierrelles
Level: 1
Class: Bard
Portrait: Elwin
Skills: basic: nature magic, herbalism, scouting, stealth

great!!

I am downloading your campain right now.

You seem to be talented in makeing campains.
I have a request though that you might want to consider since you are in campain making.
I love to play scenarios with heroes at very high level.
Can you consider makeing your next campaign longer and in a way that in the last scenarios the hero can reach up to lvl 50 or above etc..?
Thank you,

Also I think that the feedback on the campaign already available is welcome in thios thread, right?

Well you can have two lvl40 heroes in the last scenario of this campaign.

In the next one, at the end I estimate you will have lvl 50 heroes. But you wil have to fight lvl70 ones!
