The Best of the Best
We had tons of discussions who is the best homm player around - but now its time to stop babbeling and see who really is a true master of this game.

will start VERY soon with - as you can read - die hard rules only a true master can manage and defend his title.

no - this is definalty not a tourney for everyone. becasue im quite sure 90% of all players are too chicken to try it 
but im also quite sure that the TOH tourney which has allways been almost dead but has allways survived due to tradition can maybe get activatd a bit more

So what does it take to get into it again?
Altho prolly be more interesting if they could just do the challenge right then and there instead of some formal challenge thing

no - if you dont have a "formal challange thing" it would be too easy to defenend the title and would prolly end up in chearry huntin. we all know how easy it is to have a long winning streak if you pick your opponents carefully

General Rules and Information:
Each Warlord with a Shield of Power, MUST accept challengers in their category at LEAST once a week. If a Warlord does not play at least 1 challenger a week, he/she can lose the shield after 2 weeks.

must play by: May 7, 2003
warbringer
wins: 14
must play by: May 31, 2003

wins: 1
must play by: May 5, 2003

Because of this very sentence "ultimate warlord" may fail.
How many warlord shields are available? 6 (six ). Considering that 1 of them will be holding the ultimate warlord shield, he can have only 5 challengers. Imagine that 1 person holds 2 shields at once. (ie. warbringer holding platinum and bronze shields both) That leaves 4 challengers remaining of those 1 will surely be a footman.
Also, I cant even imagine a footman holding the warlord buckler or the ornamental shield challenging and defeating an emperor or a lord.
I strongly recommend that this rule be changed or removed. Otherwise, the ultimate warlord might lose his shield after 10 days due to the lack of challengers, and/or end up playing with the same person xxx times.

exactkly - when a shieholder misses th deadline the sheild is free for grabs. just mail to get the shield then no need to play the player who missed his deadline.
of course same goes for ashields which are allrdy free - just mail and ull gt it. and of course then you are also qualified for ultimate warlords
im quite optimistic that the ultimate warlord tourney gonna raise a bit of the activity of the regular shields

We know that you cant play Heroes you Tosser, you can just make dumb spamming posts...
about the Ultimate Warlord thing, i wonder if all those Random only or HG specialists will take a shot at it

This could be a little misleading. I think it means a warlord shield holder, as well as anyone else can challenge the ultimate warlord. Is this so?

lack of challengers MIGHT be a problem but imo everyone who wants a warlord shield can get one
the rules remails - if we see a lack of challengers coming we can change it afterwards

Another toss
The question is: if a warlord (regular) loses his shield, does he still remain as ultimate warlord?
Becuz:
If an emperor holds a shield, there is no way that another emperor can challenge him for ultimate warlord - only for the platinum shield; becuz there is only 1 warlord shield that can be held by emperor ranked players. An emperor holding the ultimate warlord shield can be challenged only by lord and below ranks...
