May be that WoG3.54 from the pirate disk? It's old. 3.58 will be ready soon (AFAIK).
And, there was a bug in 1st campaing, last map.

1) AFAIK the pirate disk (if you mean the one from Fargus) holds 3.52
2) There's also a russification for 3.57f which is maintained by Sir Four.
