Cant find wog option button
I downloaded and installed WoG, but where do you see the buton labeled "WoG Options"? I looked everywhere and its not there.. am i blind or what?

the wog options button is at the top right of the screen. Where you select the map to be played or select saves. Just start a game and at the screen that you can select map difficulty and which color you are what castle type and all that. That is the screen that has the button.

its not there. just for information i installed it over homm3 complete, in case that info is needed to help solve my problem. anyway..
I have 3.57f (I think, anyway the main file in the download section). The button just insnt there, and I dont understand why. I mean, I can load WOG Maps and check out the new units and stuff, but the button just isnt there, and its frustrating, because I only play random maps hotseat with my friend, and I would love to turn them on. Is it an install error?

Things that could of caused the problem:
1) you download and installed wog 3.57f without installing previous wog patches.
2) Download stuff up
Ways to prevent it:
1) Download latest Allinone.zip, not just 3.57f and follow the instructions
2) The damn annoying Global Setting thing, I had this problem except I saw the button but couldn't click so don't change the global settings while or inbetween installing patches, leave it on anything english eg. US (English) or Australian (English).
My recommendation:
I recommend that you uninstall HOMM3 Complete and delete every files that are left in the 3d0/HeroesComplete folder reinstall HOMM3 complete, then install 3.57 Allinone.zip or 3.56 allinone.zip, then 3.57, then 3.57f (thats what I do) and don't change the global settings during the installing or after and make sure you leave on a *instert country here* (English). That should fix the problem 
If you think it will take a while, at least you don't have a 486/DX4, 16Megs RAM, 1.5Gb HDD Space. Try to reinstall HOMM3 and WoG on that computer, I have to

That's a bummer, man! And I thought mine was slow...and I use a laptop for everything...
But getting to the subject on hand, Here's what worked for me....
I uninstalled Heroes 3 Complete. Reinstalled it. I did this for a clean install. Downloaded the allinon1. Extracted everything into Heroes 3. Clicked on the WoG icon in the Heroes 3 folder. It created a WoG Install folder plus other zip files. I extracted the zip files in the Heroes 3 folder into the WoG Install folder. Went into the folder. Cicked on the WoG Install. Installed everything. I now play WoG....
The WoG Option is the blue rectangle with yellow lettering in the single Scenario selection. Choose your options there.

Well 3.58 is well under way now and we got a few surprises for you coming as in new creatures and all  It is great to be on the WoG team and be a tester PS to all testers listed on my site I WILL be adding all new 3.58 files new creature files and scripts TODAY. Be expecting email and about 8 megs of dl

Ok, Re-installed everything, re-downloaded, and now it works fine. weird.. Thanks for the help! WoG is so awesome, I cant believe how hard it would be to go through a disassembler and change code around and make a mod. Insanely hard, but sooooooo worth the effort. Drawings are great too

We all on the WoG team thank you for the great comment. It's because of enthusiasm like this that WoG continues. Slava is the man that hard codes everything, and he keeps working on even more stuff that will blow you away more than you are blown away now.
Play the game, enjoy it...keep those cards and letters coming.

Yes, this problem that you had happens to alot of people (hell it happened to me too, I even gave screenshots to Gangrail) I hope the WoG team make some sort of a FAQ or Troubleshooting guide in the release of 3.58, it will stop fans posting the same stuff every time

Refresh the screen and the files say wogupdate (6/25/03
) beside them in BIG red letters I also sent you 2 a reply with direct links to the files. Instead of the page that has 20 different links to all files.
