Best Elementalist?
Which Elementalist do you believe has the best ability? I enjoy playing Conflux and usually choose Aenain, a bonus to Disrupting Ray makes him valuable until the end of the game. I think Ciele loses her value too early in the game to be the best Elementalist. Brissa is a close second though since she can Mass Haste very early in the game.

I'm a bit more of a materialist
I like to take any hero who will give me the +350 gold a day and then hire out a hero to lead the army. (That is, if I'm playing anything but tower. Tower is Solmyr, guess I'm just a sucker for that chain lightning)

Grindan is the best elementalist, starts with slow/earth and gives you gold...no question.

Aenain is better imo. He is really good at making Cyclopses an easier ordeal.

yeah i like grinden as well. Seems like i always get expert earth at level 4 or 5. The map can be attacked so much better and much earlier with mass slow.
As for tower orin would be an awesome choice. You have 3 shooters and his specialty is archery. But he doesnt appear too often, so neela is my choice. The armor speciallty rocks when neela gets up in levels

Grindan is better than Gelare, but I still think Aenain and Brissa have him beat. I prefer hasting my guys rather than slowing their guys, but that just fits my style. As for Tower, I usually pick Torosar, actually.

Ciele (super magic arrow) or the two money makers (Gelare and Grindan) are my usual choice for elementalists. However, I think all elementalists are useful (maybe except Luna).

This doesnt make sense...You want to use a magic hero, but you would prefer a mass haste to mass slow. Surely the first priority of a magic based her would be to stop the might hero on the other side of the map from reaching your troops and engaging them hand to hand, hence mass slow is your priority. What are you going to do with you hasted creatures? attack? I dont think so. With that style of play, you would be better off with mass prayer, although it would still more than likely fail.

I would guess he doesnt think much about stats..
Attack damage and things like that is just "luck" to him maybe?

with luna and her firewall , you can rock the first week versus nonshooter units with small forces

Labetha, Ciele and grindan are the best, it mostly depens on the map you are playing.
On a small map i know i will meet 1st or 2nd week and with average to poor resources ciele is very powerfull one.
On a closed map where or any map where cleaning is priority, grindan will be my option, on a town map, or any town where i will have few but important fights Labetha is my option
So, yes, grindan is the best on closed map and templates, but heroes is some more than that.
And aquaman, really the last thing a magic hero wants is meet with the enemy unit. Anyway, i rarely use slow with magic vs might, since a smart might hero would try to develop as much as possible air magic and, if he got it, he will cancel your spell, and you as a magic don't want that, instead of slow i prefer to cast stoneskin or shield (unless i'm sure he doesn't have air magic and haste). then i try to swarm one stack per time, i prefer to defend than give him the chances of retalition with two stacks. i don't hit a unit with retalition unless i'm sure i can hit with a least 4 of my stacks, y prefer to defend, really you don't want magic stacks fight might stacks

how long u gonna stick with magic hero, 2 weeks max i think? in that scenario, Ciele is the most practical with her cheap nasty arrows.

Ciele works great as a power scout concidering her magic arrow.
Lunas firewall is like hamsi says great against walkers.
Grindan is good both for his cash bonus and if you got powerful shooters he can keep comp walkers away.
Brissa is good since u dont need many level ups to get her mass haste (like grindan and slow) and you can attack shooters faster.
But really, the only cflux hero even worth the thought of being a main hero is monere.
The rest are ok for scouts.
Magic heroes are a toss.

yeah thats why i said "cflux hero" 
and IMO Monere works ok for main. His good.
And besides, there isnt so much to add about the elementalists is there?
So i thought id expand the subject alittle... but if anyone has any other suggestions for cflux main heroes let me know.

I would take Ciele .. over grindan on most random temps.
Makes it possible to take out bigger staks early on.
Slow will come from the guilds/shirnes/second town..EXCEPT when u REALLY need it like on EXTREME (had two games without slow on that one LOL)!@
