1. people who drop every one or two turns... you know who you are
2. making my plans for the next day and promptly forgetting what i wanted to do. i really could kick myself
3.The silly rules which i have to face sometimes. "what do you mean no magic heroes allowed??? aren't they part of the game???"
4. forgetting to bring along troops when attacking creatures. similarly trading troops to main hero while forgetting to trade artifacts and vice versa. does this happen only to me?
5. playing a random map. i have played lots of these and have never got anything useful while my opponent gets things like pandoras boxes with rocs, cartographers, loads of money around thei castle... am i that unlucky

Forgetting to press Tab when chatting.
Shouldn't be chatting while its my turn anyways, but 1 game I had xyron with 15 power on battle for power with armageddon and ressurection in guild, but Tower was my starting town. I accidently pressed A while in battle which is the hotkey for autobattle, so xyron promtly casted a massive armaggeddon killing all my troops and leaving me with nothing-nothing at all. I explained the situation to opponet and he said  "well, its probably a good idea to concede now") Thats my most annoying thing yet! Hotkeys.

a few days ago i was playing a game and TP. forgot i had to leave extra movement to use it at end of turn due to the fact i was had no earthmagic because i didn't make it back to my town, my opponent having ddoor and gunnar(logistics guy) took my town and ended my game. ouch!! won't forget tHAT LESSON TO SOON!

peeps using foul language in the zone. especially when they're venting against TOH. as far as i'm concerned, if you don't like TOH don't worry about it. you don't have to join and you don't have to talk about it. if you been kicked outta TOH? tough tarts!! i've noticed it's actually pretty hard to get booted so if you did you prob. deserved it! either way i'm getting sick of all the crap i gotta hear in the zone.

i find i lose track of my objectives in a game and before i know it i'm way behind which ever opponent i'm playing in time. usually this means they break to the middle on a closed map before i do, or snag more resources then me in an open one. guess i'm just annoyed at my lack of concentration some times

when you find out a game you lost not long back was prob. done by cheating cause the guy you played got nailed beating another guy the same way he beat you and a bunch of other peeps. but you don't get that loss back!! that really burns me to know i didn't really lose but it counts as one anyways!! i think any time a player is caught cheating all his wins should be wiped out and points reallocatted. would be a pin in the ass to do i know, but would sure be a deterent if a guy knew that if he got caught all his wins might actually end not affecting anything in TOH.

i think for sure, luck is a huge part of the game. i've probably won as many games thanks to my good luck as i have lost to terrible luck.
but either way at the end of the game i think people should just say 'good game' rather than try to tell their opponant that they only won cuz they were lucky.

If opponent tells you in week 2 that he has to go and suggest to continue next day. Then you are waiting next day several hours instead of playing, he do not come. This is only annoying.
Most annoying is if you write a mail then, he excuses for letting me down, suggests a new time, but.... same happens again!

tourneys like COW and NATIONS that never seem to end!! we need tighter regs concerning tournies and the lenghth they can run, and what makes up an exceptable reason for not being able to play a matchup in the allotted time! all tourneys should have time strictures so that players will know ahead of time if they will be able to participate or not. and all tourneys should have beginning and ending dates!! this haveing tourneys meander over months with no seeming end only serves to kill what little interest there is in the tourney to start with. this is my oppinion, but i also know many who share it.

people who lose a game and just because they don't know how another player could somehow outbuild them in town and forces they automatically cry foul. then they run around the zone like frightened lambs bleating at the top of there lungs how they been cheated!! as far as i'm concerned anytime a member of TOH slanders another player in TOH in an open forum such as the zone they should be booted. the only people who should ever hear an accussation of dishonest play should be the honour council. if you don't want to take it up with them then shut your mouth and keep it to yourself!
ps. i think i'm in a bit of a bad mood tonight, hope you all don't think i'm a grouch

One of the most annoying thing, is when u have a scout in front of trading post, and u miss 2 sulfur to build reds week one, only to move ur scout before u make the trade. Dunno if im the only one to do that, but ive lost quite a few games doing that. Another really annoying thing is when people start bad mouthing other players in the zone, and u know for a fact that they arent cheaters. That can really piss me of, its okay to snow that u where unlucky, the other guy got sword of judgment, while u got bag of gold in utopia, but theres a long way to them being cheaters just because they are lucky. snow all u can over a defeat, but do it gracefully

i've been playing heroe's since homm1, but only online since homm2. what is really strating to annoy me is this nasty ellitest crap some peeps keep spouting. all that garbage about if you weren't around at the begginning of homm you cann't possibly be a calibre player or truly have a grasp of the game! well i notice none of these so called early masters or as some like to call em " THEY WHO WENT BEFORE", " THE ANCIENT OLD ONES " ? or any other number of silly little names they give themselves. i noticed none of them are in first place in homm right now i don't care how long you been playing this or any game, you're only as good as your last game. i been playing chess all my life and i sure as hell am not a grandmaster!

Hey all! The most annoying for me is NOT how long someone's turns are cause I know I can't snow when I have a 20 minute turn on a 2 min timer, but the fact that Deamonic's clan bonus is armeggddon! What is with that??? I only play maps that have armeggdon taken out for a reason. But for some reason the clan tourney people have determined to force me to play someone with it. Now I know there is some stuff to do against it, but I had thought of everything I needed just to have a chance. So of course I didn't get any of them. I know I was very unlucky cause I looked at the saves and my opponent had the cloak and the shackles on his side. But I couldn't even get prot. from fire in 3 mage guilds or fire magic with my main. O ya I am also hydra philo, so I am stuck with fortress, ugh. I thought these special tournments were suspose to fun, like any other game I play for ToH. This game ruined my day, this is not why I play heroes!!! I know what ur all thinking, 'don't play deamonics then', but i was in the grand clan arena tourney, cause i will never play deamonic with bonus!!!

to play against demoniac clan? Who cares whether they do either do not have this bloody bonus? Just make the best use of the possibilities and skills you have, and defeat them. If he is with efreeti to cast armageddon, you can attack him having dragonflies of the same speed and kill them before armageddon could be casted. But it is all of no importance. Why the heck do you all think so good of the armageddon? Not the armageddon wins battles, but good strategy and skills.
Think about that and stop whining. If you regard yourself as a player of high qualification, you should keep your emotions caused by the lost battle inside.
Think about this, and good luck in your future fights.

Ummm "Battle Master" For a guy who has never been in my situation b4 you sure have alot to say about how I should feel. Something I did forget to add in the above post was that my opponent agreed with that his 'bloody bonus' was too good. And he whined more than me about how little fun this was. I felt like I had to literally twist his arm, just to get him to play. So if niether of us enjoyed this game, the question I ask is why???

Jex.....I been there after playing very well, and.....Hey it happens. Don't play with the devil is all I can say. Get burned pretty easy Or take a random castle and pray for dragons ???
Whoever you clan leader signed you up for the match and that is just how it goes. They got a great bonus if you like playing that castle always. It might get boring it would seem though.
Anyhow, better luck next time. I gotta play one of them again sometime I think. Probably get wacked again, but heck who knows? Mabye I shackle the guy and and whipe him out with some dragons?

this topic was posted strictly for the purpose of airing out your pet peeves and your whiniest whines about this wonderful game we all love to play. i will not allow it to be sidetracked by someone commenting on another persons reply!!! this means you battle master or whatever you call yourself. you got a peeve air it! but this topic is here not to let other peeps criticize or even to give advice. so all you would be commenters go create your own topic and air your comments there! not here! and by the way that is something that really annoys me. you got something that bugs you go ahead and spill it! but nothing else!
ps. i don't mean to be hard on anybody but up till the last few reply's this topic has been rather entertaining and hasn't been bogged down by any bickering. i would just like to see it continue in such vein.

Most annoying thing?
When someone drops I save the name of the file like JB239Drop or whatever the players name is.
Then when the game is over I go back and look at all the drops and see if they dropped for a reason and many times you see they have lost their main hero and then dropped and then when you load your auto they of course avoid that fight.
That's not what annoys me though. What annoys me is how they still lose even despite that underhanded BS :-)
I have not heard the 'Old School' talk that YouSmell speaks of but in the zone I have heard a lot of people downing on those people who did a lot for the game.
Every single player who has played and added something to the game has brought it to this point so those older players do deserve some respect. If the game just came out today and we all started playing it would take a long time to get to this point of skill as a whole.
Each player that has contributed something built this house. Even the players that are supposed to be Veterans were not around in the beginning of Oracle. In fact the only one who I know that was and still is is Vesuvius. JB239 may not have been around for Heroes2 but he is still a big contributor. Anyone who has ever made a new distinction and started something new deserves credit. Not just people who have been playing for 4 years. But those players do not deserve LESS credit just because they have been around for a long time. If you had invented tactics and such 4 years ago when there was noone to follow then you would see how some of those people might be a lil defensive sometimes.
Everybody just play. Your prowess in heroes3 will mean absolutely nothing on your deathbed. It's just a game.

nothing more annoying then........
accidentally attacked a horde of gorgons with your scout.
trying to type your opponent a message only to realize you forgot to hit TAB and you exited the game without saving.
when you opponent is taunting you.. come on, fight me.... and then when you do fight him, he drops and never comes back.
saving a game... continuing 1, 2 or 3 weeks later and totally forgotten what your plan of attack was.
losing in the `Assault' touney without actually getting killed.
just a few of my most annoying things that happened to me in the past.

one more thing
Nothing is more annoying than realizing that your opponent knows the map like that back of his hand. I sure do dislike players that misrepresent the fact that they have or have not played a map `x' number of times.

Lol, well Ironmlh I couldn't agree with your more hehe same ideas. Anyhow my other big peeves beside the ones mentioned earlier are when your opponent gets all the +4 arts, implosion, and an upgraded 7thlv creature in refugee camps, oh and all the log heroes in tavern While you manage to get bag of gold,boots of polarity,and thunder helmet Man I could live with a little luck or any luck besides the worst luck!

I forgot that one, Rolli, about getting those not so good artifacts while your opponent get all nice +all artifacts.
One more annoying thing (i just keep on remembering them throughout the day)
In the marketplace, when you are trying to purchase or trade to get gems( or other resopurce), and i accidentally hit trade max or buy max. i then end up with lots of gems and no gold or no resource which i traded.

get wizards tower and your hero is piquedam
you click on the tavern and find josephine and calh staring back at you. So you hire josephine for the tower troops.
Your next 5 heros hired are
1) straker
2) galthran

How about this...
You exchange troops between your heroes, but forget to exchange the artifacts.
Or, you have red orb, and forget to remove it when you have a wizard.
Or just like ironmlh, in marketplace, instead of trading wood for gems, I trade them for crystal or something.
......!!!!

getting no attack spells, and getting at level 4 fireshield and sorrow or waterwalk while your opponent gets ressurect,chain or meteor shower. or all of them.

one more thing
When you get armeggedons blade with a scout from the water while on a boat, and meet up with your main hero to swap it. Then realizing that your main hero has no spell book and armeggedon is useless. And i am 5 days from town .

Something is missed here that can annoy me and make me lose the game; ultra long turns. If you spend 3 minutes per turn, but your opponent takes 10-15 minutes, and find its only week 2, 2 hours later, at least for me, its time to go browsing adult sites or build a new house, car or thermonuclear submarine in the back yard.

Lol, Vesuvius. Thatis so true. Surprised it wasn't mentioned first! Nothing like waiting on slow player that takes so long you lose intrist in game. I end up forgeting what the plan is and make small mistakes and have to backtrack lots costing me days.

wait until you play Unlimited time games
well as with many players in TOH there is a group of us that play random 200% L or XL's on Unlimited time, so if you call just a 10 to 15 minute turn annoying try a 45 minute turn thats right one turn 
But what annoying is about that is that THEY DROP just before they are going to send the turn to you LOL!

It is the most anoying when you severly outman your oponent but they have 500 sp and resurect. My Record battle with kuma no tsume lasted 50 mins with a similar situation. I did not have resurect and you know what the outcome was.

soooo annoying!!
stupid and suspicious questions during the game. " hey wow you got great arts? what you get to have such good stats week 2?" In other words, " Did you edit this map or something you cheater!!" For all you players who suspect foul play during a game, please remember that it's possible to pull any relic from a floater or a warriors tomb. i played a game just the other day and i pulled heavenly hat and titans gladius from the water! my opponent was a little surprised by week 2 stats!!

Those really long turns where just as your opponent sends the data he drops.
Having to fight an hour long battle, and at the final few stacks left, the game freezes and you have to fight it over with your opponent having learned from all the mistakes they made earlier.
People who are annoying all game long, saying they will win and you suck, only to drop almost instantly when you attack their town with your main hero.
People playing Battlemania and other similar maps without mentioning anything about possibility of getting so many Dragons with Dungeon and all that. I played this map blind first game back season 3, and I thought I was doing good to get gold mine and portal of glory in week 1- only to find my 4 arch angels a pittance compared to 8 black dragons week 2...
Having 3-4 for towns and getting nothing useful in all those guilds, and your opponent with one town gets t-portal, ressurrect, and d-door- that has happened to me more than once.
Making a game with someone where you are both Stronghold or Fortress to take out the high level spells, only to find that they switched to Rampart(their neutral town) and a 4th level hero in late week 2 or something. What's the point of making yourself Fortress or Stronghold and agreeing you want a game without spell battles then doing something like that? It's not cheating by ToH rules afterall.
When you are in battle in map against neutral monsters and they get multiple morale moves! I actually lost my main hero in week 4 because I had 16 red dragons, 11 gold dragons, 14 Manticores, assorted lower levels, resurrect, and a very strong power level of 16, and full mana from vortex with 12 knowledge but I attacked Pandora's Box that contained 20 AA's and 30 Angels... wouldn't you know it that both stacks of 10 AA's and one group of Angels get's a morale move 3 rounds in a row, and in the first round both AA groups and one Angels stack get morale move. I lose that game without ever fighting my opponent.
Forgetting that you just searched Burial Chamber or Tomb when you fight a week 1 battle vs some nasty ranged like evil eyes or Grand Elves, and your slow melee troops freeze from fear 3 times crossing the battle field. I've had the results of battles like that come down to 1 trog living to take the final 2 HP's from the last evil eye... very intense, but also so frustrating when there was a morale location only half day walk away...

and then...next turn (at the end of the 2 mins):
selling all my wood (11) fur useless gold...damned...
"oops...mistake...sorry.."
"i'll send you next turn" (by my honor..i will!)
next turn...(at the start of the 2 mins..to avoid doing the same mistake):
traded good ressource for wood just to make my promise true...and then..sending 7 wood to one of our opponents ...hell!!
happened at one of the best Heroes-Lan-Parties i've ever been in april...

i love the most when im tradeing for something like mage guild resources...and i end up tradeing too much and i dont have enough to get it back.
I find it annoying in battle when you have a troop of thiers beserked, and three of their troops equal distance from it, as your single stack of troops is...and it goes for yours.
