firstly i don't really give a crap about about your opinions moc.
the reason this post has stayed popular for so long has been due to the fact that it hasn't been bogged down by peeps rehashing stupid arguments that we've all heard before.
if you have a need to hear all the stupid chatter again and again why don't you post your own topic?
we could call it
MOCARA'S PLACE TO ARGUE STUPID ARGUEMENTS!!
or maybe

ok, what ALSO annoys me:
is when you open a thread with a specified topic, and in the short space of one day, you find it has over 15 replies ... but on a COMPLETELY different topic!
and then you TRY to get it back on topic, and then a bunch of people get on your case about not allowing their posts, and they continue with their rehashed boring arguments!

Normally I just ignore you guys.
You guys seem to be in your little clique and very judgemental of other people and that's cool.
But you say Woods is my friend and should be ignored. Again fine but you would defend your friends too right?

If someone did that to one of your friends I think you would step up the way Woods did for me.
I really have no problem with you guys trying to have your lil club and acting so superior and all. But you are smart guys and surely you can see through your own rage to reallize how stupid it is for someone to just go off like that right?

If one of my friends went off like that on one of you guys I'd be embarrassed and tell him to act his age.

I think i missed this whole issue / argument ... but i see something really ANNOYS these people.
Which reminds me ...
What also annoys me is:
- when your opponent complains of his BAD luck, and then kicks your @$$! 
- people who think they know it all, and try to tell you that you're stupid
- the "veterans" who monopolize the "library of enlightenment", who have a network of "veterans" to back eachother up. (who call anyone stupid who disagree w/ them)
- "relic race" maps (dw, hg, bm, etc.)
that's all 4 now.

Whenever I win a game I always say "I was just lucky" then I name off some of my luck.
As you say it is pretty annoying when someone agrees with you when you say that.
Now I have to go visit the "Library of Enlightenment" to see what you are talking about over there.

ok, this one's the WORST of all:
you and your opponent's main heroes have equal stats, but you have a bigger army ... and here is the big battle.
After about 15 minutes, you've got pretty lucky and are kicking his butt, and you know you're eventually going to win... and then ... a pause ... you start to wonder what spell he is going to cast, or if he's thinking of running ... but suddenly you see your mouse cursor start flashing colors, and you KNOW what just happened.
there comes a message that your opponent has left the game, then the HOMM screen minimizes and pops up a message, "Reconnect to Qwest DSL services".
So in all hopes you try to reconnect.
Meanwhile while it's trying to reconnect, you see another message: "Connection to zone terminated"
after 5 minutes an error code 650 pops up from your isp, and so you restart your computer. As your computer reboots, you get "the blue-screen death" which seems common among Windows ME. Yes, your cpu froze, you gotta reboot again.
Next time when you reboot, it boots you up into "safe mode" ... <-- HELL NO! I DON'T WANT SAFE MODE!!
ok, 3rd time is the charm ... right?
Your cpu takes the extra time to scan your disk for errors ... ALL 30 gigabytes of it!!!
So 5 more minutes, plus one more minute to log back on in zone ... and you discover ... hmmm? where did my opponent go?

There is one worse...Its when you are in that main fight, you have had some good morale at the right time, the fight is going well, you are obviously going to win, then he drops, and when he comes back, he wants to replay the battle, when you are easily going to win it. GRRRR!

that sucks too, but it's worse when YOU get disconnected ... because then people think YOU are the cheater!
I'd rather be cheated than be accused as the cheater.
There are many people who refuse to play me because of my $#!%%y ISP ... and i totally understand. Sometimes I wonder myself why I even play like this.
I'm surprised I've managed to finish 75 ToH games this season like this ... 90% of them having 2 or more disconnects.
People usually judge me for my ISP, and it sucks!
What can i do? I warned them before we started.
The customer service representatives have done EVERYTHING in the book to try to fix it, 3 repairmen couldn't find the problem, and they sent me a 2nd modem ... still the same thing. I though America off-line was evil, until i signed up to Qwest.
IF ONLY THERE WAS A DECENT ISP IN MY AREA!!!!!!

I have the world's crappiest connection these days, it seems. Here's my situation:
I live in a small town, approx 3000 bodies.
We have only one ISP available here.
EVERYONE I know who is online here connects at around 48-54 k. I used to, myself, and life was good.
But I got tired of hearing everyone whine about me exercising my divine right to play heroes and tying up my phone up all the time, so I had the phone company run a second line.
When they were done, my connection dropped to 26.4 (on good days it's 28.8).
Now I get disconnected at least once a game, and IT SUCKS!
My phone company split my existing line instead of running another one, and in doing so halved my connection speed and made my connection unstable.
My ISP tech support people swear there's nothing they can do to stop the disconnections. The phone company says there's nothing wrong with the connection that I have now and it must be my ISP.
One ray of hope--earlier this summer the cable company ran all new broadband lines in the whole town. Cable internet service is supposed to be available here soon, and I can't wait. Once it's here, I'm likely to tell both the phone company and my current ISP just where they can go. As long as I have cable internet and a cell phone, I'll be good to go

crazy game
some thing that annoys me is when you and your openent play for 5 hours and then you get into the last big fight.
my oponent had way better stats then me but had no magic.
i had dungeon and he was fort on giant war.i had implode and an earthball. he had summon water.
the game was a draw.
he had no res and i didn't have the spell points left after i wacked all his real troops to kill his elementals.
after battle and both our heroes disappeared never to be seen again with all our lovely relics we just called it a draw and went to bed.
i hate when that happens!!
