We still on gamespy, but the 2 most active H3 tournaments are currently LRH and WCL.

it would be common sense to report your homm3 games on ToH as well... but not every one has common sense or foresight.

Quote: it would be common sense to report your homm3 games on ToH as well... but not every one has common sense or foresight.
Very true. Problem is, u rarely find anyone in Gamespy who wants to play for ToH. This is either coz most of the current H3 players on gamespy joined after Zone was closed, so they don't know too much about ToH. Or they just "grew up" with WCL and LRH, which became pretty active when ToH focused on H5 mostly.
When I get asked "What is ToH?", and I hand out the link, most of the time I get the question "Do they have any subtourneys like -tribes-or -random natives-?", I always reply: "Currently not, but maybe if it get's more active again". And then they join WCL or LRH.
Maybe u start 1 or 2 subtourneys also? Like "natives " and "rmg" for example? There was a subtourney on WW 2 years ago, which was refered to a specific template only (RMG master or similar was its name). Different groups were created, each group only played on 1 template. Best 2 players of each group reached play offs, where they played on different templates then.
Not sure how much work this will be, but currently it seems, subtourneys are prefered over regular play. At least that's what I recognize. Maybe others have different experiences made the last few months?

Hey Wanderer,
You are one of the few people I can remmber from H3 but im old and my memory is failing lol, you might remember me as ZX-9 better. Good to see you around. Have you tried H5 yet? Ill be honest I love H3 but H5 is just as good in my opinion, its just now I could never go back to H3 because it doesn't have sim turns, wow is that a nice feature.

problem is with other tourneys that they disappear eventually, so all those wonderful stats and records are gone for good. So once again if there was common sense to report their game on toh as well, they would have the guarantee that their stats would remain stable on a site that's been active for a decade now.
common sense again: even if someone is playing heroes tribes, or heroes monkeybars, or any other heroes subtournament variant, its still a full heroes game, and therefore reportable as a free challenge game.
