Melony smiled, "I hope I can make an extended visit to here some day, but not today. I'm not completely recovered, and Lisa will be wondering where the hell I am... Oh, speaking about Lisa! Do you think that you could take her someplace like this every once in a while, or at least talk to her? She is completely hostile towards you and most things she associates with you."
"That general hate is a little bit on me, as I'm getting to go places and doing things while she is trapped in a block of rock. She needs something to pick her up... and soon."

He took her hand and then teleported them into her room.

"Goodnight... Ouroboros." She said back, smiling. Melony got a pair of pajamas, went to the bathroom to change and wrote a note to Lisa saying "I think I negotiated a way to get you outside," which she slipped under the girl's door before Melony sneaked back to her bed and fell asleep.

Ouroboros teleported back to his room and washed up in the shower. He fell asleep on his bed shortly afterward.
Inferno responded, "Well at any rate. The situation must be dealt with carefully."

- Definetely not at "Babushka's", I rampaged through it a couple of days ago. I heard that in one of those five stars restaurants will be held a meeting by the heads of what's left of the citie's crime scene after Mallards cans wiped the floor with them. Medvedev will be there. We'll shoot two rabbits with one shot.

Kane frowned upon having his question ignored, but decided not to comment on the rudeness of it. "Indeed." he answered. "But if we're too careful Ouroboros might get the catalyst before us. Have you any information about it?"

"Some." replied Inferno. "There is one last piece of information left that would point out where to find the location of the catalyst, but it is securely locked on a high end computer. I'm not much of the hacker guy, more of the burning one, and I tend to burn when I get angry, so it would not be good for me to attempt to hack into it myself. I'm good enough that I can tell that it is way beyond what I can do. Its way beyond military grade security and requires nanobot keys to unlock it just so you can simply enter the terminal. Xion would be the only one I know of that could unlock it safely and retrieve the information, though I am afraid that I may kill him on sight the next time I see him. Perhaps Rex Mallard would help with it, but the nanobot keys would have to be bypassed altogether, and that won't be easy."

"Rex Mallard." Kane frowned, pretending not to know the name. "Isn't he the leader of the Machine Mob? We could try to contact him, I bet he wouldn't want Ouroboros to get the Catalyst either as it would remove all the power he has gained over this city."
He hesitated. "Where is this computer?"

At 'Monteaux's' , a five star french gourmet restaurant the remnants of the city's organised crime discussed their future plans. This quiet, nearly perfect evening will soon be ruined.
A black van drove near the entrance to the restaurant. The security approached it. Within seconds two giant hands grabbed the two men's heads and crushed them into one another. The two remaining only saw the mocking grin of the devil, as he mowed them down with gun fire. The other one, a black hair girl wearing goggles, threw several flashbangs through the window. The two rushed in and mercilessly opened fire on everyone that moved. Nothing and no one were spared. One man tried to crawl out, covering behind the tables but was cought with Vlad's grav gauntlet. The hostage was nailed to the wall with hunting knifes. The man whimpered and cried as the devil and the girl planted explosives onto him. He looked at the dead bodies around him. He was never so afraid in his life.
- Hell has come for you, Vasili Iljich Medvedev.- The devil said as he finished viring the explosives. In quantity, it was enough to blow up the entire building.
The two exited the building. They sat in the van and drove off. Moments later, the restaurant exploded violently, damaging nearby buildings and heavily injuring some pedestrians.
- Krov za krov.- Said Vlad as he took off his helmet.
- Svetaja pravda- Replied Lena.
((Enough of these soap opera posts. We need more carnage here.))

"It seems humanity has unknowingly released something that could counter us."
"With the defenders of Earth killed by our Harbinger, what could possibly be of resistance to us? The humans are tearing each other apart."
"Yet there is power in one of them that silences our hold over the Harbinger"
"There is no time for us to fool around with this. We must unleash the full power of the Soulhunter."
"What if this is a child of the Catalyst?"
"Then she will die as well as the others."
"As you wish. Wait...the Harbinger...HE CAN HEAR US STILL!"
"Then let us waste no more time and kill Melony!"
"Yes, master..."
Siegfried walked into Melony's room with a dagger.
"I am sorry, dear, but this is for the greater good." he said as he raised the knife above her sleeping form.
"NO!" yelled Ouroboros as teleported into the room and telekinetically stopped the blade inches from Melony's heart. "I thought you were on my side, Siegfried. Why?"
"Do you think that you are really who you are? That your powers were just manifested from nowhere? No one gains powers this powerful without help from higher beings! You were the chosen of the Titans! But ever since she arrived, you have grown soft, weak, and have neglected your duties! I am here to bring you back into your real self, and she is the thing that blocks me from freeing you!"
"No." replied Ouroboros, "She is the only person that gives me any freedom, or life, or anything worth living for! She frees me. Not you!"
"Then I have no choice, Ouroboros...Harbinger. I must unveil my true form!"
Suddenly Siegfried glowed and seemed to have something grow inside of him. He then exploded, revealing only a green glowing figure of light. It was much taller and muscular than the real Siegfried.
"I am the Soulhunter." the glowing man said. He outstretched his arm towards Ouroboros. "This is for the greater good."

((Ah, time for death then.))
Melony had woken up because of the shouting, and when she saw the demon-thing that Sig had turned into, she swiftly dropped into her "Battle mode". The calm, the energy, the power that Melony had become accustomed to coursed through her body, driving her emotions back again and bringing the situation into focus.
She saw a green glowing monster that looked like Sigfried reaching for Ouroboros. There was no hesitation as Melony threw cutting shadows into its being and she hissed, "Stay away from him!"

As a being of light, Siegfried was gravely hurt by Melony's attacks and was thrown into the wall. Ouroboros then took the opportunity to steal Siegfried's power.
Ourboros ran to Siegfried and placed his hands on Siegfried's head. A rush of images and sounds flooded Ouroboros's mind. He saw a shining palace in a cosmic sky where three larger and grander beings of light resided. He then heard them speak.
"NO! The mortal is far stronger than we have thought. The Soulhunter is defenseless against the mortal's darkness." said the yellow one on the right.
"The Harbinger has taken the Soulhunter's powers! He hears us!" said the blue one in the middle. "Chronos! You must send your Immortal to kill the mortal! He is impervious to all harm and cannot die! As another celestial, her powers over the mortal mind is useless as well. The only way he can possibly be defeated is if the Harbinger finds the Catalyst first and kills us!
"Even with control over time, I am still the master of time! He can only defeat the Immortal if he defeats me, its creator." said the red one on the right.
"What if he succeeds?" replied the yellow one.
"How can he? A mortal versus a god?! AHAHAHAHA!" said the red.
"The Harbinger is still of our creation. If he were to meld with the powers of shadow, then he could defeat even you, Chronos!"
"The Immortal shall make sure that doesn't happen!"
Ouroboros left Siegfried's mind, trembling and shaking.
"Oh no...we are doomed..."

"We... we should run then." Melony said, looking at Sig's collapsed form. "We need to get your sister... and then leave."
Griel felt a disturbance in the balance of powers in NC. What could have... Is that, a being of light? It asked itself, curious. IT MUST BE! The shadow demi-god jumped up, excited. It had found a purpose. I could easily conquer this world and its pathetic inhabitants, but this one... If there is one who would reveal itself, then there must be more! I need this challenge... Griel's mouth cracked open in a grin, "Challenge accepted. Let's play ball, darkness against light." It ran toward the power signature, "So here I come!"
Suddenly, the power spike dropped dramatically. Someone beat me to the kill? How... No, it isn't dead. Just wounded. So it's not dead enough. Griel felt a faint power signature of another being of light coming to this world. I knew it! This one if far away... Far away enough for me to finish its wounded companion off. Griel was coming...
It would arrive shortly for its prey..

"No, Melony. You go with Lisa and take Tiberius with you. They can see me and know where and who I am. So long as you live I shall be free. They must not see you and cannot possibly know who or where you are." said Ouroboros to Melony frantically. "I must find the Catalyst on my own and you must...you must stay with someone safe. Someone you trust."
