I'm fine with wraith replacing the ghost honestly. If they plan to rip off wow banshee again then they might just get rid of ghosts entirely.
H5 ghosts had a much better and unique design.

Honestly, the best way to go would be to completely rip off vampire counts from warhammer and amen.

They have some sick undead creatures and ubisoft copies everything anyway, so...

Pretty much. I wouldn't mind. People usually think copying is bad, but doesn't necessarily have to be. I mean, Warhammer and Warhammer 40k ripped off Tolkien, and then pretty much every universe  today ripped Warhammer ( especially starcraft ). And both of those universes are today one of the best and richest fantasy/sci-fi works you can find, both lore and gameplay wise.

Ubisoft is just continueing tradition. Even our beloved black/death knigths are just a rip-off from vampire counts. ( black/blood knights )

And since I don't like when Ubisoft tries to be creative ( sun glory in haven was simply horrible ) and so on, I'd say stick with that path.

why dont they copy everything from previous HoMM games (from HoMM1 to 4)?

Than in Warhammer? No, I don't think so.

It sucks so much that there isn't a single company that can make proper Warhammer game... Warhammer game like Heroes or Age of Wonders, I would play it so much. Oh well, I am going off topic here.

I really miss the old alternate upgrades of H5, they where really good and you had loads of choices...


Never was a fan of h6 IMO it was a failed concept at all, including hero abilites , creatures etc...


Also i dont really like the core Champion stuff but its ok i guess


As for Necro, good old Brutal Undead with lifeless eyes and no colors where chilling and best imo

Here is my Line up
All are classical Undead.

Core - 1.Skeleton/Skeleton Warrior - Skeletal - Takes 50% less damage from Ranged Attacks. Upgrade can carry some armor or maybe throw a spear like a ranged attack with a cooldown ?

       2.Walking Dead/Zombie - Spreads disiease and stuff around maybe reducing enemy morale and speed

          3.Ghost/Spectre - Incorporeal. Drains Mana maybe ?

Elite - 1. Vampire/Nosferatu? - Classic Life Drain, No Retaliation ? and hmm Flying for Upgrade ?

       2. Lich/ Power Lich - Shooter. Death Cloud. Caster ?

       3. Wraith/Reaper - Heavy Melee, Maybe some unique spells ?

CHamps - 1. Bone Dragon/Ghost Dragon - Flyer. Extra growth. Less Damage from Ranged ?

        2. Black Knight/ Death Knight - Melee. Fear. and upgrade gets the classical double damage deathblow ?


there are a few starting wishes i hope get true or maybe not ? ;D

im pretty much the opposite. H6 was the best in means of concept-abilites-creatures on the other hand H5 was worst(or H4 worst? i dont know, they are both have terrible creatures) in series.

and core-elite-champion formula works perfect, every creature does something meaningfull. old formula was just like-"i have this thanes, forget the shieldguards."

and please explain to me how in the name you can favor peasents of H5 over sentinels of H6? i can show more examples.

Peasants kinda grew on me in H5. Little dudes contributing gold, plus you could have a snowload of them in few weeks.

So I'd definitely go with peasants over sentinels. Since ya know, more armored swordsmen/spearmen. Bleh.

Well, Peasant did have a role, it was to swarm them and keep them safe for extra gold per day... Taxpayers...

ALso, you explain how exacly does the flawed h6 system of boring heroes and dull creatures, compare to the dynamic and revoulutionary for its time h5 ToTe ?

Well i guess its indeed a matter of opinion but in my book h5>>>> h6 by miles....

Yup, same here. H5 was definitely the best from the whole series in my book.
Skill system, alternative upgrades, spell schools, replayability, synergy between units, town screens... everything.

Only the design of the units wasn't really the best as it was a bit cartoonish, and H6 did great job there as it was quite serious design, but what difference does it make when you can't enter the town screen without getting fatal error?

I still am playing H5 over and over again, after so many years. Where I've played H6 a bit, but lost motivation so fast and couldn't continue saved games that I've played for hours.

Maybe the Fate Spinners could return,too (or sth like them, anyway).
For me it was an interesting twist for the Necro lineup.

Yeah, I want black/dread knights back as well. Haven's champions just don't cut it.

Death knight's deadly strike in H5 was balanced quite well, instead of doing double damage ( which was let's admit it Op ) it kills half of the stack, which means the less knights you have, the more effective they are.

So give them a nice bloodred armor with some other colour here and there, a rusted spear or sword, visible head instead of helmet and they're good to go.

Scythe feels way too much cliche. Instead, a mounted knight wielding an axe might be even better than sword/spear/lance.

That's how horses in H3's necropolis looked alike. They weren't skeletal.

I was very intrigued by them too. The necropolis line up had always only one female unit.
