Rogue Town
Another town idea:
The Rogue Town (maybe, Bandit's Den)
Comprised of thieves and such it would make a fast neutral town.
lvl 1 Peasant, Rebel (Similar to pikeman)
lvl 2 Rogue, Bandits (Same ability as in HOMM3)
lvl 3 Boar Riders, Boar Raiders (hehe...)
lvl 4 Nomads, Light Cavalry
lvl 5 Rogue archer, Sharpshooter
lvl 6 Troll, Two-Headed Troll (more powerfull than in HOMM3)
lvl 7 Doppleganger, Greater Doppleganger
The doppleganger could have the ability to shapeshift in another creature in the battlefield. It would only get the physical form, attack power and attack ability of the creature (no magical ability such as spellcasting but it would be able to use the attack of the hydra). Also if 1 doppleganger select a pack of 10 golem to shapeshift (exemple) there would be only one golem in the dopplegangers's stack.
so, what do you think of it ??
plz help me fine tune it.

your 7th level creature sounds intresting being able to shape shift in to any form and being able to use the attack that would be real strong

special form of disguise
What about having an ability your ROUGE troops to choose how other players want to see them. - like they can dress even as dragons - and change their count - something like Very advance Disguise magic.

Hard for a human to look like a dragon...
Beside, the Rogue's normal ability is already quite powerfull for a lvl 2 creature !

yes, but that's part of the game
rouge TOWN lords, not rouges as troops.
and why not - if they camp everynight - they can make like they are some other creatures - they are THE masters of disguise -
