Marzhin confirms that he probably won't continue with book 3 and 4 (in terms of the actual game) lower down as he's forgotten the map editor!

LOTA - fabulous
Just finished book 2 and it was truly fabulous. I sure hope books 3 and 4 do come out. Projects like these keep great games like HOMM5 alive!!

I don't mean to be a bother but is the production of the 3rd book almost complete? I've been excited for it to comeout and I was wondering if this project has been scrapped or there is still production going on for it.

I joined the team in 2010, and I made 5 maps (2 for book III and 3 for Book IV), all Level Design work was finished before 2011, if my memory serves me right. But... we couldn't find a scripter to finish everything.
I don't know more than THAT.

I see now. Thanks for the update. Hopefully you guys can find a scripter to finally finish the project for good. It'll be a hell of a lot of fun to play.

Dear Heroes Community,
1. Texture modders needed
1.1 This is to inform you that a small team of dedicated HOMM fans is involved in finishing Book 3 of HOMM 5: LotA and we are currently searching for texture modders to complete the project.
1.2 Those that are interested may PM me or send me an email to mctronic@hotmail.com.
2. Update
2.1 The work is going well. 5 out of 6 maps are completed, scripted and are currently being playtested (just for obvious bugs).
2.2 Map 6 is currently being redone (a slow process as I’m not a proficient mapmaker).
2.3 After that, scripting will have to be implemented and the map playtested (just for obvious bugs).
2.4 Once the initial playtest is completed on map 6, the team may expand the pool of map testers to adjust the difficulty settings and to further balance all the maps.
2.5 There is currently no target date – Book 3 will be released when the team feels it is ready to be published.

Hello Dredknight,
Book 3 of LotA will only be full compatible with version 3.1 as I'm using script functions such as Hero_touch Trigger and movehero that are not recognized by the Enhanced AI mod.
