I already wrote few pages back on discussion thread how to use Reshade and MasterEffect but ill write it here too again:
Put these files into folder with MMH7Game-Win64-Shipping.exe (...Might and Magic Heroes VII/Binaries/Win64) and modify file MasterEffect.h in text editor to see immediate effect on screen. For saturation enable USE_VIBRANCE (change 0 to 1) or for fine tuning enable USE_TONEMAP and then under //TONEMAP adjust #define Saturation to the desired percent (0.500 is 50% more saturation). In provided file I already set saturation to 35%.
Somebody with greater knowledge in graphic design can modify many different effect and make perfect Heroes preset. I've touched only saturation. Best thing is as soon as you save changes in MasterEffect.h file, effect is applied immediately so you can see right away what you did.
Original Reshade and MasterEffect files if you want to install everything manually are here:

30%-40%. I fear much more, though pretty, will be tiring for the eyes in long games.

to be honest, I'm not entirely convinced the increasing saturation solves the problem. I lean more towards changing the sun hue to something warmer (and softer?) as currently the lighting in game, in my opinion, is too harsh and cold. Increasign saturation doesn't solve that problem. I took the existing screenshots and added warmth (through Picasa) instead of increasing saturation here are the results:

Adventure Map (Warm)
Adventure Map 50% Saturaion
Battefield 1 no saturation
Battlefield 1 (Warm)
Battlefield 1 +50% saturation
Battefield 2 no saturation
Battlefield 2 (Warm)
Battlefield 2 +50% saturation
Battefield 3 no saturation
Battlefield 3 (Warm)
Battlefield 3 +50% saturation
If there is an option to tweak the sun settings, it may also be easier to implement. Any opinions?

Thanks ! These tweaks are simply amazing. The game look more warm. I tried many configurations but the choice is difficult...
I like the 100%... But I like with only #define USE_VIBRANCE activated too.

Finally, the Tonemap version is better, a little more natural... What do you think?

The wheat almost looks like it is glowing and lighting up the mountains with its light; it also looks like a perpetual sunset. Other than that though it is nicer than the original, and the resources are much easier to see which is quite nice.

I believe it is important to emphasize Stevie's point about applying the changes at texture level and not as a whole, since the UI is better without so much saturation, mountains seem to get odd too.
Stevie said: But I see the mountains getting green also. Maybe this should be improved at a texture level? In any case, something MUST be done because currently the game is washed out and grey, and these immediate results are so good that I think it's very much worth.

Absolutely . Devs definitely must find a way to increase saturation of all textures, except interface. It is possible to mod all textures. Though it's gonna be backbreaking labor.

I think if they can desaturate UI elements and portraits and then increase overall saturation that would be easier.

You would still get things like green or gold mountains though.

A great patch, and now a beautiful fairy-like Heroes.

Just Use RadeonPRO (ATI Radeon GPU's) or simply add more Saturation in CAT manager Display Colour or Use Reshade + SweetFX !
As for Nvidia GPU's use Color Vibrance ;-) or Reshade
