Native Hero or Speed addicts?!
OK Raven and I now have 2 small tournaments ready!! We have Native Hero and Speed Addicts ready!! So we would like to know what you guys would like to see open first!! Once we figure out what y'all would like to see we could have one of these up and running by this weekend!!

Natives on random seems cool...but not a good option for absent-minded players who could forget the game style and recruit Tazar when playing rampart and only remember about it a few weeks/days later
p.s. based on a true story that happened to me yesterday - but don't get me wrong, I am definitely not talking about a cheating case, the (super-nice) guy just plain forgot he was playing a natives game

native hero rules
Hi, I just checked the new Native Hero subtourney page, and I wanted to clarify one point: is this a mix of "The hero"(where u could only hire 1 hero per game, but change castle each game), and Natives (where u could buy any # of heroes as long as they belong to your starting town type)?
I understood that, after you pick a town type for the tourney, you should play with that starting town in all your games, and then play with only the starting hero (not necessarily always the same) in all your games. Am I correct?
Also, issues like not hiring heroes/getting his troops/dismiss them, and getting heroes or his troops from prisons (as usual in random maps) could be clarified or at least reminded to be agreed upon players b4 games.
Just my 2cents.

Hmm yeah I am not totaly clear about the rules either there.
And I also think the prestige award for finalists is a bit low!@

I have played Native Hero style occasionally, and found the following rules to be great..
Wk 1 u can hire as many heroes Native to your town type..
But day 7 u must choose only one of these as your main(and only) hero for rest of the game and dismiss the rest. This way u dont get stuck with a crap hero like Sylvia for the entire game.
Then it's simple that u cant hire any others for the rest of the game.
If u take a prison u can take army(if u want it),then dismiss the hero.
Also, I think Conflux should not be allowed coz it's a toss and u can't play opps who only have version 1.4
Necro is ok coz with only one hero those skells will slow your movement soo much, IMO it ain't worth taking..
Just some suggestions, should be fun

I am leaving when Native will close blank for the moment to see how active it will get.
also fulx has the backup of as castle town for players who have 1.4.
Splexx more or less explained the rest of it for me lol.

Also you can NOT pick a new town type every game you a limited to one castle type!
Also make sure you pick your native profile picture, it goes in to your native hero profile wich you can find by clicking on the pictures in the rankings pages for native hero.

Rules to specify imo are:
can u hire heroes from tavern for their army?
what about prisons?
can u garrison a gold(or any hero?)
blah..blah....

rules are now updated. you are only allowed ONE hero NO hero can be recruited from taverns, or prisions!! The hero you pick on profiles page is the hero you MUST use!

The necro dudes lol...wonder how many games they will find, or conflux - if u have to pick 1 hero Isra and so on shouldnt be allowed, or at least get some penalty compared to "normal" heroes.
Or where is the point in that than, about 10 players get specialists and the rest?

I was under the impression that the hero choice was for an avatar only..
Do ya think I would choose Cuthbert if i had to use him everygame..lol
This rule gotta be changed or tourny wont work..
