I need to know what time zones you're in so we can get some games going!! (I'm in GMT -5)

hi Conan!
I don't know what to say, i already have one game set up for this week end with Angelito(i was eager to do that for a while now) that may turn into an allied game once i have LLazy's confirmation and i don't know if i have any spare time left saturday(only day when i can show up on the zone) due to the fact that i have 2 more exams next week.I really want to take theese as they wont let me go to the National Championships in Cross Country skying if i fail one.Theese are my last 2 exams and after that i'll prolly have more time the next weeks(before i go to that competition)
Anyway i'll let you know friday the latest!

what's happening with the Beta division??? Is only Jebus active?
Did you send some IM's to RUHO or Griaustinis?

Looks like I was late getting to this thread...  Well, I know I will have to learn more before entering even a "Noob" tourny!! I mean, if some of you call yourselves "noob", and are far more advanced then myself... I must be a "beginning noob" or "boob". Hopefully I will be good enough to compete the next time a tourny like this comes around

Didn´t saw Griaus on the zone for at least a month now....and he would be my partner in the 2vs2 tourney though....
How about a replacement for the guys who don´t show up to play these games?

Conan, maybe we can replace Stargazer or someone else from the Beta Division, with LKru, if they do not respond soon. You're the man in charge, so let us know what you decide.

So what I'll do is send an IM and email to them Ruho and Griaustinis and ask them what's up. I'll give them time to answer (2 days?? what do you guys think?) at which point I'll delete one of the players to add lkru.
Sounds good?
EDIT: Ok, I've IM'd and emailed the 3 contestants in the beta division (other than Jebus) to ask them what is their intentions. I'll let you know.

your long time presence here and your previous attempt to play such a tourney recomends you as a solid candidate for this one!
I don't want to say it before the deadline set by Conan expires, but wellcome a board!
Maybe if you have the time you could participate in the noob and vet allied tourney too(should some of the participants declines his presence)

Thanks guys for including me in the tourny (depending on responses)!!! I will definitely look for a vet to pair up with for a couple games so I can learn more tactics. Right now I am going through some autosaves to learn more about the chaining technique as I know I am going to get beaten badly if I don't

LKru33, you can replace me in both tournaments. I had some 'earthquakes' in my personal life about month ago. I didn't play from that time any game, even chess(my favorite game).

I took the points out as it is not fair for LKru33 to take a loss when he has indeed never played a game. Ruho, if you don't agree, let me know.
