They would only lose if I bet against them. I win more consistantly than you lose.
Instead why don't we add a point spread?
I say the Patriots will win by more than a touchdown.

No, this is a minimum cushion. It means if they win by 24 points or more. I win. If they win by less than this OT wins. And if the Pats lose than he wins also.

i know this sport is hot in the US but for us europeans it's relatively unknown. Last seaon a sports channel from my country introduced NFL games aswell and i got to watch some games even Super Bowl.Due to the fact that this sport is cvasi unknown even the guys that were supposed to comment the game didn't know all the rules.I was wondering if anyone would care to take the time and explain a bit..

American Football Rules
Hello, Tigris.
I would like to try to explain American football to you, but I believe it may be somewhat difficult, not to mention it would take quite a while. You see, it is very complex and complicated sport, which is why it is not very popular in Europe. Rightly so, since Europeans are not very complex people. Not too many Europeans would be able to comprehend its magnitude, nor could they understand the detailed rules of the game. Unlike European football, American football is an extremely action-packed and exciting sport, which is why there are so many rules as you have stated.
Now, on the other hand, if you wanted me to explain European football to someone, I could do that quite easily. Please observe:
European Football
Kick ball.
Chase after ball.
Do not touch ball with hands inside field of play (except goalkeeper).
Kick ball some more.
Continue to chase ball.
Fans must sing same monotonous 'fight song' entire match.
Stay within boundaries.
Outside side boundaries? Throw back in.
Outside back boundaries? Kick away from goal at six yard line or kick towards goal from corner.
Let the ball bounce of your head or chest.
Halfway through match, take a short break, eat orange slices, drink water.
Resume match.
Fans 'boo' opposing teams upon return to field.
Kick ball with enthusiastic gestures.
Chase ball even more.
Play rough, but not too rough, or you will recieve warning cards or removed from match.
Touch ball with hands or play unfair, get free kick.
Kick ball very hard toward opposing team's goal.
Goalkeeper stops ball from entering goal, then punts, throws, or rolls ball to teammate.
Two players run after ball, get entagled, fall down, grimace in pain, and crowd 'boos' even louder.
Both players throw up hands and complain to referee.
Play resumes.
Kick and chase ball some more.
Team's best player runs half the length of field with ball while eluding defenders.
Best player kicks ball very accurately.
Ball finds it way across goal line into corner of the goal just beyond goalkeeper's reach.
Game ends after 90 minutes with score 1-0.
Winning club's fans celebrate by stampeding losing club's fans.
Stadium nearly catches fire.
Fans and players celebrate by drinking beer at pubs.
There you have it. European football in a nutshell.
(Perhaps RSF could take a 'shot' at explaining American football, since I know he enjoys writing lengthy posts and stories.)

lol Khayman that was great
I say give the man a star!
American Football:
This game is not necessarily a game to so many Americans, but it's own religion. After all the games are on Sunday for a reason.
The night before ceremonies, great amounts of time are put into preparations. The car is packed full of all the basic religious materials.
1.) A fire source, whether it be charcoal or propane.
2.) Holy water. This comes best in 30 packs or in kegs. Ensure that the holy water is kept as close to zero degrees celsius as possible.
3.) Extra holy water. You never know just how much you might need. Sometimes those who are less fortunate run out of holy water or were unable to acquire any. It's best to make sure you bring enough so that you can properly bless at least another dozen people.
4.) Animal sacrifices. We recommend the following... a) One dozen chickens, b) one pig, c) half a cow, and finally the most recommended d) all of the above
These are the basic materials for one particular pre-game ceremony, which has been so rightfully called, The Tailgate Party.
In our next lesson we will discuss more pre-game ceremonies...

Notice the TWO happy, winking smilies.
I guess nobody (besides RSF) appreciates my sense of HUMOUR, not to mention how much time I spent LABOURING to create such a witty post. I never meant to DISHONOUR any of my European friends.
(C'mon, Angelito, who in their right minds would even think as much. Perish the thought!)
