bummer.. I've been away too.
Anyways...
It's playoff time!

Saturday, Jan. 7
(W)Washington at Tampa Bay (L)
Jacksonville(L) at New England(W)

Sunday, Jan. 8
Carolina(L) at N.Y. Giants(W)
Pittsburgh(W) at Cincinnati(L)

Opinion: Washington has been on a 5 game winning streak and looks to be a tad bit better than Tampa despite record.

New England is a team that thrives in the post season. Look for them to send Jacksonville home early

N.Y. and Carolina will be a good matchup, but I'll give an edge to the Giants.

Pittsburgh will overcome the floundering Bengals who were beaten by the Bills 2 weeks ago and creamed by Kansas City last week 37-3.

Washington Redskins beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers

17-10

New England Patriots crush Jacksonville Jaguars

28-3

Carolina Panthers tame New York Giants

23-0

Pittsburgh Steelers defeat Cincinnati Bengals

31-17

next round

Washington vs. Seattle, the defense of the Redskins is good, very good, but will that be enough to stop the #1 rated offensive team in the NFL.

Carolina vs. Chicago, a good match it will be, I hope that Delhomme doesnt get sacked a bunch of times like it last time when playing this team previously. The Bears defense is tough.

And

New England vs. Colts or Denver Broncos

Pittsburgh vs. Colts or Denver Broncos

Could the Patriots go all the way to the superbowl, again, and win it for the 3rd time in a row(a record for the number of consecutive superbowl wins)?!

my picks:
*blindsided by giants loss*

Washington(L) vs. Seattle(W) -Seattles offense will overcome the good Redskins defense

Carolina(L) vs. Chicago (W) -Chicago will dominate defense-wise

New England (W) vs. Denver(L) -New England isn't my favorite team but they are formiddable postseason

Pittsburgh (L) vs. Indianapolis(W) -just like they did earlier in the season the colts will trample the steelers.

Yea it is a shame I tought Bengals would take it but Steelers are always a solid team.

Lets see Seatle will beat Washington by 3 touchdowns or more.
It will be close but i think New England will beat Denver by 3-7 points differ.

Pitts vs Indiapolis is going to be intense & I am confident Pitts can beat Indiapolis by 10 points.

Chicago will run over Carolina by 14 or more points.

The Giants had no business being in the playoffs.  They won their division because they had 9 home games and only 7 road games.

Washington better play better on the offensive side of the ball than they did at Tampa Bay.  I think they can beat Seattle but they will have to play a nearly flawless game.

I think Carolina will find a way to beat Chicago.  Their defense is as tough as the Bears' and Steve Smith looks unstoppable.

Indianapolis will beat Pittsburgh.  Their speed and the noise (real and artificial) will be too much for the Steelers.

New England will beat Denver by stacking the box and forcing them to throw.
