Giants did good man, just Manning choked, like most rookie QB.
He couldnt handle the pressure, he had a good season just couldnt handle the big games.

Any time you get manhandled in your own backyard, more than one man is responsible.  If you expect Manning to win games for you at this stage in his career, your team is in trouble.  Most quarterbacks don't breakout until their third or fourth year in the league.

I think Manning is to blame mainly because when he started throwing interceptions the whole teams morale fell.
But I think that Eli will be great someday.

Sadly my 'Skins lost yesterday, despite Seattle doing just about everything they could to lose the game.  I think injuries finally caught up with my team - there just wasn't enough gas left in the tank to pull out yet another road win with a decimated secondary, depleted receiver corps, a banged up running back, their best blocker on IR and an old QB with a bum knee.

Oh well... at least it wasn't a blowout.

My picks for next week (I was out of town for a while, which is why I haven't been participating lately):

Seattle will demonstrate yet again that they can't win the big game (they did everything to lose yesterday).  Carolina wins by 7+.

Denver looks tough and wins a close one at home over the Steelers.

I have allways loved the nfl because of the very few judging errors and because they use video to correct mistakes. But this week the refs really sucked. Can anybody tell me what on earth happend?

Thats my guess as well, all thier players are fresh now.

Carolina is tough but i think  Seatle can pull through.
It will be close but I give a 14 point lead.

Pitts wins by 21

Denver and Carolina will win.
Then again last week I picked the exact opposite teams so that shows how much of an expert I am.

Indiapolis lost before that missed kick.
Bettis made a very rare Fumble & my scores would of been exact.
Indiapolis got blown away way before hand.

Nice to see I picked both games totally wrong. Ugh.

(But what a disappointingly boring pair of championship games...)
