I think that WarMachines are very good added in homm5. You can use them as real advantage at the start and loose from miss other usefull skill later on. It's good for rushing strategy and in MP it can give you the final battle in smaller maps.

The tent has only 3 charges? I did not know that, by the time I have finally gotten the first aid ability, my battles don't last more than that I guess. I personally think its a great ability. How about the plague tent part, I never got that, whats that about?

Plague tent deals same damage as it would heal towards an enemy creature.
With kaspar this damage reaches over 100 fast. You can have it at 130 at lv 6-7. 130 damage at that lv is pretty much, about equal to 15 vampires.
I found it helping me clearing neutrals with kaspar sometimes. Instead of waiting for that perfect moment when the enemy creature hit you and its first aid tents turn then your skelletons turn = no losses. Sometimes the tent acts just before enemy and therefore cant heal what that creature kills if you know what I mean, then you can simply kill it with the tent

IMO, Upgraded ballistas and catapults are fan-frickin-tastic, but the first aid tent is a worthless waste of gold. Hardly heals enough to make it worthwhile. BUT, I buy it anyway, as I usually have a gold surplus! **..noddity-nods..**

Week 1-3 it's pretty sweet.. Less so after that but at least it can heal up to lvl 3 dark.

As much as I LOVE Kaspar and the Triple Flaming Ballista, it has to be said.
War Machines sucks. (in general, that is)
